Course Curriculum Overview

4

The core centre, high-level branches, algebra, linear analysis and calculus the curriculum of practical sessions. Modern mathematics help me to choose this course. The career will prepare me for the model and practical session that mathematics, industry preparedness, and academic progression I think the area is a little based on the previous time, examination patterns, and there has been been much improvement Exams are moderate and based on previous yesr patterns.

Internships Opportunities

3

There is a specific allocated internship society in our college that is dedicated to finding internships for students other than that the societies also recommend internships that a student and do. Companies are not that profound but do provide decent roles

Placement Experience

4

From semester 6 students become eligible for campus placement Visited companies are Bain and Co, KPMG etc.. Highest 23 LPA and average is 7 LPA 70-80 percent grt placements My plans is competitive examinations

Fees and Financial Aid

For the 2025 academic session, the fee for Hansraj was 33,160. The current annual free is around 33,145 to 303 505. The thief for the course has seen a minor incremental for only 2 to 3% total year course fees ranges up to 99,440 to 1,05,000. The common seat location system is true merit basis. Almost half of the seats are reserved for the category based people and the ones who need financial aids.

Campus Life

5

Delhi University is knows for its fests and its events that it hosts held in june or july The books are available widely and at a very low range Facilities are decent and sports is there in college and it is being promoted at a wide range through national level competitions Societies have a huge impact on students's profile building and project learnings

Admission

I applied to a lot of colleges such as Ashoka, DU, NMIMS, Christ, IP and symbiosis I got confirmation 3 of the 4 colleges I applied for.. I chose DU becuase of the course and exposure Yes I got rejection from Ashoka University it was due to my low extra curricular Everything is merit based in Delhi University. The examination process is all about filling forms and preparing CUET

Faculty

4

The ratio of faculty to student is one is to 30. The faculty is highly qualified and approachable for doubt clearing. There is one mentor given to us for whom we can ask any doubts that we have one of the teacher that I really like is Jyoti Bhola she teached calculus the academic year is divided into two semesters per year. There are overall six semesters and the continent internal assessment takes up 25 to 30% of total marks and the theory exam takes with 70 to 75%. The difficulty level is moderate. The average passing is about 80 to 90%.

Night Life

3

Gym, cafeteria is available duriny morning hours Since I live in Delhi itself I travel straught back to home Famous places either includes Kamla nagar market and Majnu Ka Tilla The area is safe since many students live here in PGs

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the BSc Statistics (H) offered by Sri Venkateshwara College has been quite relevant and comprehensive in content. The core courses such as probability, inference, regression, and econometrics were the major reasons for opting for the subject of statistics. It provides us in-depth analytical training that is necessary for higher education and work in the field of data, though there is a need for exposure to software/tools as well. The semester-wise examination, which is moderately tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. You require to put some extra efforts to gain more knowledge and practice.

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible from 3rd year/6th semester onwards for most companies. Some internships and tech roles may be available to 2nd-year students depending on the company criteria. Placement Percentage: Usually, 70–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the stream. Highest placement rates are often in Computer Science, Economics, and Commerce streams. My plan is to become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Hindu College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Jan 6, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented
