Remarks

The admission process is based on the university guidelines and didn't get beyond the deadline so it doesn't require much improvement but if responses are received a bit early then it's a bonus for students as I received the confirmation during my admission after 2 days during which it creates a tensed environment.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The term exams were conducted most probably in the last month before University exams. About 80-90% of the professors took it in a serious and good way along with exam-oriented questions and the other 10-20% of professors prefer assignments to cover the maximum Syllabus in revision through assignments as the topic of assignments contains the crucial and repeated topics.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Internship opportunities are available for every student sometimes within the campus or sometimes outside it. Within the campus, many professionals work in microbial research and related things where they found assistance from young graduates. With the help of social societies, u got a chance to become an intern outside the campus too, for example, I was working as an intern in an NGO named Kailash Satyarthi Children Foundation and assisted in a project on the India level.

Placement Experience

3.5

I don't know much about placements from my college but got to know that there are opportunities for first-year students onwards and the overall average package was around 8-8.5 lacs per annum. I m not interested in placement right now cause I m planning for doing a master's first after my graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are much more affordable for this course and are maximum in the first year only after that it decreased by 2000-3000. Scholarship and financial assistance are also provided by the University and by some partners too. I didn't avail any cause not fulfilled the minimum requirements but listen from those who availed that it's a proper method for these scenarios to happen without any unnecessary disturbances. A recent scholarship was assisted by Hindustan Petroleum Group Ltd. If talking about jobs then there are research labs too where you can assist a professional person who was working on some project otherwise placement cell of deshbandhu checked the regular placements available for the Maximum students

Campus Life

4.5

There are multiple groups and clubs for every student. For example Enactus ( social welfare ) Synergia ( The life sciences society for its students ) Sharpshooters ( For photography and short film-related hobbies ) Vrinda ( the botany society) IMPACT ( social impact consulting society ) and many more like this. The most focused sport is archery badminton and volleyball other facilities for sports are also provided and are upgrading simultaneously. Moreover, the NCC wing never fails to train the students who want to serve and many students got part in the parade also at raj ghat on the occasion of Independence day. Other than this fest events and cultural activities are also organized by students with the help of all teachers and everyone turns out to be very supportive.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the BSc Statistics (H) offered by Sri Venkateshwara College has been quite relevant and comprehensive in content. The core courses such as probability, inference, regression, and econometrics were the major reasons for opting for the subject of statistics. It provides us in-depth analytical training that is necessary for higher education and work in the field of data, though there is a need for exposure to software/tools as well. The semester-wise examination, which is moderately tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. You require to put some extra efforts to gain more knowledge and practice.

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible from 3rd year/6th semester onwards for most companies. Some internships and tech roles may be available to 2nd-year students depending on the company criteria. Placement Percentage: Usually, 70–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the stream. Highest placement rates are often in Computer Science, Economics, and Commerce streams. My plan is to become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Hindu College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Jan 6, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented
