Course Curriculum Overview

5

I think sec, vac, aec in the curriculum are a very good option because they help to increase your overall cgpa and percentage without needing to work a lot on them. I think there should be one improvement in the course curriculum which is that theoretical knowledge should be replaced more by practical knowledge as it will help us to learn more efficiently

Internships Opportunities

5

I haven't done any internship so far, but I'm very much involved in live projects brought up by my college society and also I'm very active in my college societies and ofcourse I'm learning so many things from all this

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 17850 in my 1st year, and examination fee for 1st semester was around 2000 rs. The fees structure of my college is not that high, it's like very affordable. I'm not sure about the fees of my batchmates but the fees of general category remain same and it is less for reserved categories. There are many scholarship opportunities available in our college which even waive off the fees of students.

Campus Life

5

Our college organises diwali mela every year and also annual fest every year which are way too good. I am involved in 2-3 societies in my college which have made my college experience till now pretty good and I'm very satisfied with everything. You all should definitely join societies in college.

Admission

I applied to the entire delhi university and got this college in my first preference and overall I was satisfied with the same because of the nirf ranking of the college. Also, I heard a lot about the faculty from some of my cousins who have been an alumni of this college that the faculty is way too good. The admission process revolves around first clearing the cuet(ug) exam and then applying to the delhi university, then there will be 2-3 rounds of Delhi university and you'll be alloted a college as per your preferences and score and cut offs

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ration is around 25 to 1. Faculty student relationship is very good, they always try to help you with everything, solve your doubts in every way possible, even you can communicate with them via whatsapp if you have any doubt during exam season. There's no such specific faculty which I like, every faculty of our department is nice. It will be my first time giving exams as I'm in my first semester but the internal tests were quiet easy

Night Life

5

There are many famous hangout places near our college like in kailash colony, gk enclave. Our college cafeteria is way too good and breathable. You can always visit aesthetic cafes with your friends in gk enclave and kailash colony because they are very near to college

Placement Experience:

placement and internship fares are regularly conducted on campus where various companies which are mostly start-ups visit to recruit students for internships and entry level roles. Students become eligible for internships from the first year itself. placement opportunities are generally available after the completion of the full degree and only final year. Students are eligible to apply for full-time rules. last during our last internship and placement fair over 20 companies visited and recruited almost 150 candidates. There are no separate records distinguishing internship from placement. The highest package reported for economics honours is around 12 lakhs per annum and the average package is approximately five lakhs per annum. As per my future plans,I intend to pursue a masters degree after completing my undergraduate course.

For USME, FMCG and Financial companies are the ones which are put in place. The only reason is that those are the companies where we can add value and placements of both courses of USME happens together and combined if I say around 75% students are placed. My plan though is to join GIPE after my graduation ends this year.

DTU because East campus is more known for USME placements revolve around us. Now core companies of our sectors are the ones that deals with finance, insurance or stocks. So nearly 20-30 companies of that space or sector hires over 100 students of BAE every year.

Many companies come as ever since USME has been installed at the east campus the tie-ups with the brands happened before that. So we were etaught accordingly the war corporate wanted us and that is how this has been done with solid precision and thus our placements have never jolted.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Many also go for postgraduate education, such as MBA after CAT, or to reputed colleges like the DSE for MA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .
