Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, School of Technology offers Petroleum Engineering profession in India the best quality of education and placement. The course content is also the best. The admission in Phase 1 is by GATE score and in Phase 2 by personal Interview performance for Non GATE candidates.

Fees and Financial Aid

For candidates with having qualified and valid GATE score admitted in Phase I is given INR 12,400 and in Phase II - INR 8000 per month as financial assistance. Merit Scholarship will be granted to the students on the basis of their academic performance.

Campus Life

The campus area is quite big. Academic pressure is there. But there is time for extracurricular programs as well. It is a time of relaxation. There are various student driven clubs which is divided into three major sections. They are Social & Cultural Clubs, Sciences & Technical Clubs and Sports Club.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel accommodation fees per year are INR 90,000 and Mess Charges is INR 44,000. Hostel and mess fees are subject to upward revision from time to time.

Admission to M Tech programmes is on the basis of GATE score followed by Personal Interview performance. The admission usually starts in the month of June every year.

Benefits of studying at UPL University of Sustainable Technology

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like UPL, Alembic, Sun pharma, BEIL Infrastructure Limited, etc. and many other companies visit for campus placement and every year many students are placed in such reputed organizations. The highest packages of 6 Lakhs/Anum and Average packages of 3.5 - 4 Lakhs/Annum are provided with good profiles like Production Officer, Project Officer, Executive Officer, etc. are offered. After my degree, my plans are to work towards the betterment of the Environment in a good organization.

Remarks:

It's a government institution. Don't expect things to be moving at the pace you want. Everyone does their work with their own convenience. They are least concerned with your problem. The quicker you accept it and get used to it, the better will be your life in the institute.

Remarks:

Oldest and Excellent good college in Ahmedabad Gujarat run by Gujarat technological university rules and regulations and aicte approval. Good learning environment will be available in the campus. All facilities are available too.

GATE 2012, Score 549 I am interested in doing research and work related to research. Have heard lots from friends who were my seniors from where i did B. Tech. Faculty and Facility both are far better than other NITs and as per my GATE score i was not getting admissions in IITs. So choosing this college and compared to NITs was a better option.

There is more of a bad experience than good. Very few faculties are supportive. Others do have knowledge but are not willing to share. I would rather prefer taking 2 years of industrial experience than taking a Master's degree from this college. I just feel like I bought a piece of paper in the form of a degree by paying very hugh price.

Pandit Deendayal Energy University

I was also approved for EC course in Nirma University College. I chose PDEU over Nirma primarily because it provided with a better course(ICT). I was not rejected by any colleges. I applied in LJ were I got CS course, In Nirma i got EC course and In PDEU I got ICT. I opted for PDEU as I found ICT more fascinating.
