GUJCET , Score was around 112 in 2009. It is an autonomous government college and is more than 125 years old.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was pretty much wide to give a good exposure to the students. Material science, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics and economics were also being taught. All practical sessions were quite helpful to give us a good hands-on knowledge and understanding of various subjects.
Internships Opportunities
No, for our course there were no internships and only internal projects were enough to teach us. Still, we managed to know what we were supposed to know.
Placement Experience
Placements are the best in market. All kind of job opportunities were there in various domains and industries. 100 % placements were targeted by the placement cell and they achieved it. Everyone is helpful for placements.
College Events
All kind of technical, social, cultural and management events were organised and celebrated. along with them, various festivals were also celebrated for recreation and promoting art and music. There has been good unity among students regarding all these.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very less fees. Around 2500 INR per year for boys. Only library and exams fees were to be paid for girls, around 1500 INR per year. It is a government-funded institute and all the expenses were take by them only.
Exam Structure
Two semesters per year and one theory + one practical exams for each subject during one semester. Objective + subjects questions in theory exams were there. Practical exams were result oriented. Scores were allocated on absolute basis out of 100.
Admission
Gujarat board exams + GujCET score was calculated and merit list was out. Form was filled up and I got the admission. We have to mention choices in the form for various branches and streams. Then, automatically the seats were allocated based on the merit list rank.
