Good- VBIT

I was admitted through Eamcet. The details regarding the fee structure, application, and corresponding dates were available on the internet on third-party websites like college dunia.com The admission process was super smooth as it was completely conducted through TS EAMCET councelling.

I have chosen mechanically because of my interest in the field and there is a mix of faculty qualifications. Some faculty are very qualified enough but few of them were done just M.tech in JNTUH and came to the teaching field. The teaching method was not so different as it follows the curriculum of JNTUH. Two mid-exams were conducted in a semester. (1 for every 45 days). And then, there will be an end-semester exam.

The placements are increasing a bit every year. Although the companies are not so top-notch, they are good to start your career with. The companies like Cognizant, etc have taken the students from their yearly intake. The average salary package would be ranging from 4 LPA to 7 LPA. Nearly 30 percent of the students get placed in a small or big company.

The fee was also quite fixed(for a general category student who cannot avail of the scholarship). There were no external scholarships offered other than the default government scholarship on a caste basis. In recent years, there is a little bit of a hike in the placements(Thanks to the boom of IT jobs in a pandemic).

The campus is moderate. There are some amount of events conducted every year (including technical and non-technical and cultural events). The library and the availability of books are really good. There is also an online library (for scientific papers and journals) provided in partnership with some government websites. There are ample amount of student clubs called ROBOTICS Club VBIT, IEEE VBIT, VBIT MUN, etc.

The hostel was really good interns of rooms, and food (of course due to the huge fee of 80000). The process for registration for the hostel is quite easy the coordinates are friendly during the enrollment. There are also ample amount of places like hostels and private rooms to stay during your studies. The locality is a bit normal but I can say it is good.
