Likes

Faculty are always helpful in every aspect which will help you in college and after the college also maintain a healthier relationship with faculty
Atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing ground and campus are big and far from city and chaos this is really good
Library is huge and equipped with wifi and computers so it's also convenient to work in college primeces

Dislikes

Travel time is a serious concern if you live far away from the college it's better for you to shift to ghatkesar which is close and transport is available

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum and teaching methods are not up to industry standards but they are relevant and based on jntuh criteria for engineering and we have elective options so that we can choose among the subjects available

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual fee for everyone is basically same which is 85000(yearly)+exam fee 1500(each semister) If state government scholarship can be availed for sc,st,obc and minorities students can avail if candidates gets in through councling if not no scholarship is given.

Campus Life

College have various clubs almost 20-25 which involves cultural,sports, filmography, nature,and many other aspects I thing the clubs are not as usefull in college life as it effects accedemics so better to avoid joining those clubs

Admission

I have chosen this collection purely based on work of mouth from other people and i personally feel the college is good interms of exposure to the work environment and placement preparing but it didn't perform as I expected in placements aspect

Faculty

No of subject vary from branch to branch and lab faculty are rude and arrogant exam pattern is simple 70 (external (semister exam))+30(internal (mid exam)) in which 40 percentage is required to ss a subject in internal getting 26marks out of 70 is mandatory

Interview Experience

No i have not faced any interview or written test or group discussion at the time of admission or before because I got into councling after EAMCET so there is no other aspects which are considered for admission

Night Life

Night life is pretty borring because the college is out of city and there are no near by malls or towns so there is no much nightlife around college but you can enjoy going to movies and box cricket which are available in ghatkesar that you can hangout with your frnds

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
