Golden days.

The life at LD was so awesome that days will never come back if you want to enjoy your college life and also want good career opportunities go for LD.

Guj CET and I have scored 89%.. I want to go for computers from 10th std, because it's era of technology and I like computers its languages a lot and also good for our future career job etc.

Course curriculum was designed very well.. We will get to learn hardware and software side.. In 1st year v get to learn about electronics and mechanical branch too.. In every semesters we have to make projects also.. So we got experience of programming from beginning of engineering we have to go for 6 months training where we have to make live project have to go to a company and it was like on job experience course structure was very good we have to make projects on C language on c++, vb.net, Java net beans etc.

Yes we have to go for an internship in 8th semester for 6 months. If we got placed in some company and if they would provide us training then we have to go for it and average stipend would be 6000 per month. Otherwise we have to take in-house training or find out company by own for training.

Yes when we will enter in sem 6 we are having placement process for around 1 year and 80% of the students got placed in some or other companies. Cognizant, Vedanta, Infosys all well known companies all came for placements and average pkg is around 3 lacs per annum.

We had lots of festival celebrations in college annual day, Robotics, LAA festival, Kshitij In LD there were 2 robotics festival in which colleges from whole Gujarat will come and participate in it, it was the main robotics festival of Gujarat technological university.

Fee structure is very cheap as it is a government college yearly fees for boys are around 2000 and yearly fees for girls are around 300 rs we just have to buy our files and file papers and all stationary stuffs and books that's all we have to spend.

There is no such programs no need to go for a loan if u will get admission in LD college.

Campus life is very good gender ratios are almost 50-50 students came from very different cultures no cast discrimination no gender discrimination no ragging no sexual harassment no political pressure all are equal there.

Hostel facility is not good in LD for girls there is no hostel facility for boys they have a hostel but I heard from my friends that it is not good no mess facility in it college canteen is very good. We can get South Indian, Punjabi everything at nominal price moreover Nescafé is also there in LD campus.

LD alumni association is very good it is very big network as this college is almost 100 years old seniors were very helpful no ragging nothing just a friendly atmosphere.

Exam structure was like at the end of every sem we are having semester end exams semester end practical exams and in the middle of semester 1 exam. That's it life in L.D. Was very fun not hectic schedules not much pressure not an attendance issue.

College faculties were very cooperative all of them were very qualified most of the faculties were Ph.D. Passed and they have published their books on their subjects and that books were part of GTU syllabus all of them were very friendly most of the faculties are almost more than 15 years experienced they have detailed knowledge of their subjects.
