Remarks

I chose to attend this college because of covid. The college is near my location. My father also studied in this college. He recommended it to me. The college union is strong in this college and the college is also known for sports and other extracurricular activities. The admission process was easy due to the Open Window allotment method by government. I got admission on 30th November 2020. Despite covid restrictions, teachers have started online classes and covered some of the classes. They also promise to complete all the portions and exams within three academic years as per norm.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course of Botany because of my love for nature and travel and my interest in plant and animal life. The faculty members (teachers) are very helpful and actively resolve doubts and encourage interactive classes. Each module is covered by a different teacher. The faculty: student ratio is 1:32 per class. The teachers are with years of experience and understanding. The teaching method is novel for us and them but we are able to cope effectively. I am a first-year student and am yet to face the exams.

Class Size: 32Course Fees: INR 5670 per year

Placement Experience

I don't know about campus placement in our college. My plan is to complete the BSc Botany course and do some environment-related work. The college offers several courses and imminent teaching. Those who learn with their heart and put the effort into their task will find a job somewhere.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is simple. The term fee is 1050. A special fee is 610. The application fee is 50. Parent-Teacher Association fund is 3000. CM fund is 360. The miscellaneous fee is 50 and Science stream fee is 550 more. Total of 5670. This is for a term. Cost of study is high everywhere especially if you don't have a scholarship.

Campus Life

This year of Covid - 19 Pandemic has not allowed us to attend college. The government has decided to reopen college on January 4th. This might also be cancelled due to increasing covid patients. The Sree Krishna Library has availability of much wide range of books. The college is also known for sports and extracurricular activities.

Academic excellence in a beautiful campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. Our college has the best placement cell in kerala. Around 30% students are placed each year in our college. Companies like federal bank, infopark invites students from our college for their interviews. The degree mark is not considered, all we have to is just pass the subject and obey the rules of the placement cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose geography for my graduation because of it was a rare course and only provided by three govt college in Calicut University. It is a good course and it's sub disciplines are very nice to connect with others. Frequency of exams are based on the time duration of finishing the semesters. Usually it's two sem exams in a year and with some other reasons it may get delayed. In course of three years all 6 semesters and it's exams along with project and practical will be finished. Field trip is the main attraction of the course.

Remarks:

Im my time 2011-2014 only the female students had to wear the uniforms. At present uniform is mandatory. I think that was not equality at nobody considered it. No girl protested against that problem.

NAAC accredited with A grade. Reputed institution in the region. One of the best colleges under Kannur University in every aspects. Can reach by Bus or train( a passenger train station is present in a walkable distance). Regular transport available. Close to town area. Renowned NCC sub unit. Produced many talents be it in Academics,sports or arts, To quote one indian international football players CK Vineeth and Shahal Abdul samad were students of Sree Narayana College Kannur. Faculty of physical education was awarded the best physical education faculty award in Kerala State. Has experienced faculties in almost every departments.

Sree krishna College

I was admitted into Sree Krishna College through single window portal of the Kerala government. As I was having a reservation under SC I got admitted into the college through the community quota. Our classes started on November 1st through online platforms like Google meet, Google classroom and zoom. Other important notifications are shared through WhatsApp. As I am an SC student I do have a lot of reservation benefits. I have joined the college through the single window process of govt of Kerala. As our college is under the Guruvayoor Devasam Board, it offers reservations for the scheduled categories. Sree krishna collage Guruvayoor is a aided collage under Guruvayoor Dheevasam board . As the college is under Calicut University Our admission process started by the last of June in 2020. The admiration process were completed by November 2nd. Our college covers an area of 36 acres and is situated on top of a hill with immense natural beauty and rich biodiversity. Our college has quite developed infrastructure facilities and a clean campus . It also offers hostel facilities for both boys and girls.
