Remarks

I opted MBBS because it was my dream. By becoming a doctor, you take away the pain and sufferings of others by giving them medical treatment and healthcare. As a doctor, you are a continuous source of happiness for many people and their families. When you give happiness to others, you are the happiest person of the moment. If you don't believe it, try it. I opted this College coz I didn't had much choices.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS is a vast course and I am still in first year so I am not the right person to give opinions. Well if we talk about 1st year academics include 3 subjects- Anatomy physiology and biochemistry. All the departments are show keen dedication for learning. As of now we don't have much clinical exposure because we are just I first year. Faculty is outstanding if I talk about my College.every professor is so understanding and determined. everyone tries to give their 100%.

Placement Experience

5

There is a shortage of doctors in india. everyone gets a job.we just have to gain knowledge rest is assured by government

College Events

4

Every thing about campus life I great. Late night events, fests, sports meets, being part of dance society, late night movies in hostel. Though in my College fests are not organized at a large scale as it is a new College but it's fun to be a part of everything

Campus Life

As it is a medical college it is equipped with every facility mentioned above. But I wish their was a more developed infrastructure for sports. Although we have intercollege tournaments, wifi is available in library, library is pretty much equipped with every book we need, lab equipments are A class. College mess is a complete disaster though. I feel preivelged to be in a medical college

The placement opportunities are available but they are significantly needs to be improved. The maximum number of course have only sales department to be filled and after that they don't really care about the interest of the students. Because if which alot of students who admire to go into marketing, they tend to and to sales for the exposure basis.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the curriculum is well organised and implemented as well. After completing one unit of each subject the exams are conducted as class test. We have postings in our 2nd year.We go to wards and observe patients. One thing that should be improved is teaching method. It should not be only slide reading rather it should be interactive one.

Remarks:

After getting my graduation degree in BA(Hons) History, I applied for a degree in B.Ed in various colleges. I opted for this course in order to gain further knowledge and understanding of the education system and its influence on our society. I opted for St. Lawrence College of Higher Education after reading its reviews on many websites that are available on Google and after visiting the college and meeting its faculty. After studying in this college for two years, I can confidently say that I have understood and experienced the importance of education. Although the infrastructure seemed to be unsatisfactory, the faculty remained open and helpful through out the course.
