Remarks

Coming from a general background i wanted to live a life of Army person. My abilities failed me to be in Army but my aim did come out fruitful as i was selected to one of the most disciplined college for master's degree. This college promises 100% placement and it us indeed true. AIMK is the ideal ground to invest to and get back handsome return for self.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college has the best course alongwith the best of faculties who are ever ready to help us clear our queries and doubts. We are analyzed by our understanding skills in the tests conducted meaning teachers wants answers in our own words and thats how we score well. Constant GD and guest faculties are invited alongwith industrials who enlighten us eith their share of knowledge.

Placement Experience

Placements are good. Companies like Bajaj electricals, MRF, 3M, TCS, Byju's, Berger paints etc come for campus placement. They hire masses and everyone is happy with alumnas performance. They even hire on referral grounds.

College has number of clubs snd each club orgaises events almist every week. Football matches, basketball matches are regularly held. Tournamest asre also held which helps players as well as non players to be an active participant.

It is a residential college so everyone irrespective of localites has to stay at hostel. Every classroom has smart class alongwith wifi connection. Library has the books, journals, newspapers and other magazines which are helpful for all. Every classroom has AC.

3 girls' in a room and college provides us with a bed and matress each along with chair and wardrobe where study table is attached. Washing machine is available. Wifi is available. Maids clean the rooms daily.

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
