Course Curriculum Overview
Our syllabus is updated, based on MAKAUT guidelines. Yes, we have enough equipments in Lab. (Things are improving as I said.)Faculty members of Civil dept. are better than average.If I had to choose according to classes, Biren Gurung sir is great.
Placement Experience
There is a Training & Placement Cell in the college, with some faculties and students of 3rd & 4th year. TPO Cell is active. But as only 1 batch has graduated, situation will improve for sure.
College Events
We have fest once in year( both Technical & Cultural), Freshers once in a year. Other programs like Foundation day, Independence Day, Teachers Day, Women's Day etc as well as Festivals like Saraswati Puja, Biswakarma Puja, Banmahatsav, Basanta Utsav etc are celebrated.Fest and Freshers are Big. And other programs depends on the situation and efforts. Participation of students is affirmative.As extracurricular activities, I already said about various Clubs under "Pragatishil CGEC". And there's also sports (Indoor & Outdoor) for both girls & boys, they held tournaments often.
Campus Life
Campus is huge, as I said before. 2 playgrounds(1 pretty large, 1 medium), Library is bigger than average. Admin, Academy and workshops are separated buildings. We have cafeteria, hostels too in the same campus. Gym is under construction.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility for both boys & girls are in the campus. Hostels are remarkably big. New boys hostel is under construction, as only boys of 2 years can fit in the remaining Hostels.Girls hostel is available for total girls of 4 years.
