Remarks

This was a good institute and gave many academic facilities to the students. Every aspect of the institute was focused on the student's overall growth and also the faculty intended to provide as much practical training as they can at the training center.

Course Curriculum Overview

We had a course with a combination of medicine, geriatric research, psychiatric research which we did both practically and understood the theoretical part of it. However, as per my candid viewpoint, the curriculum was much focused in the research orientation.

Placement Experience

This course was in demand so the placement ratio was up to the mark and much core field training was provided to the candidates. Also, the candidates have a training period under the experts who also suggested the organizations where the student can apply for the job. However, there are chances to get a job at the institute campus itself.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it was the public institute, and also affiliated with the Delhi University, the fees were very feasible as 7,340 was the fees to be given at the student admission corner. Also, the same amount was maintained by the officials for the rest of the course years.

Campus Life

Our batch had training sessions at the firm so we did not get much time to do activities. However, we went for a city tour during weekends or played sports on the campus. Also, we had awareness programs and social volunteer work, and everyone participated willingly.

Hostel Facilities

The sharing hostel facilities were provided by the institute with low hostel charges to be paid. However, the rooms were big and the institute gave personal things to use. Although the food at the mess was appropriate, some students ordered food online.

Admission

In this public university, the admission was based on the previous graduate degree and NEET PG scores. However, there are only eight seats it was quite challenging to get the admission seat. Here, the procedure I followed was offline and submitted the required and relevant documents.

The faculty were right-minded and right-thinking as they had a correct opinion with legitimate suggestions. They guided every student on the relevant path and taught every crucial topic with the utmost care and in much detail.

Campus placements begin in final or fourth year. So from 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement.From 5th semester or 3rd year students are eligible for on campus internships with very good package. In Nsut all top companies like Google, microsoft ,adobe, amazon, flipkart and many more visit.Around 300 companies visit each year. Highest package in 2024 is 83lpa in cse branch and 18 lpa average.In cse placement percentage is 70%, and in ee it is lower around 40%.

The admission procedure wasn't much hard. Due to various reasons, but basically because the course is fresh and seats aren't full, especially if you check the institution's website you will find that the number of students that increased four to eight after the academic year 2017- 2018, accordingly it is a positive factor to get education and progress along with the supervision of your tutors. I remember that I apploaded all the required documents right after the online application and the acceptance letter.Through the selection process I took an interview, where I was asked few questions like why am I interested in the course.....My application went further in process in order that my scores were high and showing interest, passion and willingness to study psychiatry in their institution....Read More

Candidates were expected to qualify 10+2 from CBSE or any recognized State board. It was compulsory for the candidates to have PCB in their 10+2 i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
