Course Curriculum Overview

As we are having a research-based subject, teachers try to indulge us in activities that increase the interest for research. The curriculum is really flexible, students can add and subtract important topics based upon their interest.

Placement Experience

The college does not provide much placements. Doctors have to themselves approach the hospitals for jobs. I can't say much to say about this. I'll say that during the internship, you'd get a stipend of approximately Rs. 40,000-55,000 per month.

College Events

There are three events held every year in the college. Campus crowd is very good. The connectivity is also good. These are the times when everyone forgets their tensions and educational pressure and swing away in a very jolly mood.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Training Ship Rahaman follows the semester wise system. We have to pay fees at the beginning. The fees were around ?2.86 Lakhs for the course. The duration of the course is three years. The fee structure is a bit expensive for middle- class families.

Campus Life

The university conducts various extra curricular activities from time to time for holistic development of the students. The college also conducts various seminars and workshops to provide exposure to the students. Sports and cultural fests are also organised.

Admission

The students who are interested need to fulfill some basic requirements of the course. For each course it is different. The admission is based on your performance in PCM and English in Class 12. The course is for a period of three years.

Faculty

The faculty are very highly qualified, and they are also very interested in teaching and mentoring students. Student to faculty ratio depends on the course. For an introductory course, it could be as high as 1 faculty for hundred students.

College offers campus placement on an average of 5 to 6 lakh per year. Not so good. Companies like MI Tech solution,Q-spider,Latent and many more have comed for placement.Had to try for off campus for better offer.This companies before my admission .I think in future companies with high package will come. Students can seat in campus placement from 5th to 6th semester.

REAL INSIGHTS OF RIZVI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

From 3rd year , internship offers starts for us , Placements are available but you need to score Good cgpa atleast above 8.5 , than only you're selected for interview, average package is around 3 lakh -5lakh highest can go upto 10 lakh to 13 lakh my plans are to to get a stable job after betch , or to prepare for gate and get a degree in Mtech from iit .

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
