VU adventures .

VU is a branch of vit pune and placements are done with vit so we get good placement opportunities. More than theoretical , they are focused on lab and project learning . In theoretical , they basically provide us the ppt on the unit or a particular topic and explain from it .This college has collaborated with a foreign University so Abroad students also studies here and they are on full scholarship, we also get opportunity to go to their university and study , we get the opportunity to work on workshops with colleges like iit and get certified from them , We do projects on topics that are widely used bn real world , for example our this year project is based on time series analysis and it's used in almost every field of work in real life . Model making , code application in that , we gotta show they how it works while giving presentation through ppt and Poster. For improvement, I'd say they should not just send us the ppt and explain it because in subjects like coding it's like useless , My coding teacher would just type a code on computer, project it on projector and than he'll speak nobody knows what and he'll move on to next , this part needs improvement, even if the whole class is not comfortable with s certain faculty , they won't change him/ her , they don't care if we're understanding or not . Evaluation for semester or exams are conducted in a pattern like , first their is project 1 than CIE ( half syllabus written test) , project 2 and than End sem exams ,(full syllabus written test and lab exams ) , proj1 , proj2 and CIE consistes of 60% of marks and ESE contributes to the other 40% and 75,% is mandatory attendence

Internships are provided to the students by 3rd year , I don't have a very good idea but I've heard recently that about 20 pharmacy students got internship recently. Insterships and placement are not a topic of worry here if you're good at what you do and you're grades are well .

From 3rd year , internship offers starts for us , Placements are available but you need to score Good cgpa atleast above 8.5 , than only you're selected for interview, average package is around 3 lakh -5lakh highest can go upto 10 lakh to 13 lakh my plans are to to get a stable job after betch , or to prepare for gate and get a degree in Mtech from iit .

The yearly fees is 3 lakh 10 thousand that increases by 5000 every year , the yearly amount is to be paid in 2 halves for 2 semester in a year , we can create installment per sem as well . There was no scholarship program , fees is same for all . Additional fees is taken for exam registration which is about 3000 per semester.

We have few clubs , so they give us the opportunity to participate in inter college competition as well , are interactive and fun with other students but the problem is that they host very less events and even if they try to host they are not even provided with enough fund , this abhirang event that is to be host in January is funded only for 10 thousand rupees , so they are not able to create a good event out of it . we get 1 event per semester , other than that there's no life here.

Only Girls Hostels are clean , hygienic and meals are good but they repeat the same weekly schedule so even the tasty meals feels like , uh no I don't wanna eat that , rooms are cleaned every other day and their is fingerprint scan security and door lock security for rooms , and it's closed accurately on 9:30 and the warden checks every room and marks the attendance during night .

I specifically wanted to study in Pune and i belong to Rajasthan . I've given JEE exam, ive scored 87 percentile there and i belong to general category, I did applied to many colleges in Pune the cutoff was very high and they gives priority to the state students more , and I did not give CET exam so , i didn't got admission in any other college , so all I could get was this from the desired college , i specifically came for vit but I couldn't get admission there , other private colleges were even bad . so I chose this . Eligibilty criteria is just that you should have given any of the exam like JEE CET or else they'll make you give a VU's entrance exam , and whatever the score you can get admission here. Most students came here by giving CET .

Teachers are friendly or strict according to their mood or student . Theyll be very helpful and sweet if they are in the mood but won't even listen to us and taunt us if they are not good , Our Class teacher , Mr. Aditya Bhope , really has got some problem with the couples, even if they are scholars, even don't give marks even if we perform well in viva , and he asks the most irrelevant questions in viva orelse he's very approachable and friendly and a logical proffesor to other , Mr Jameel Ansari is a really great faculty , he teaches great , he's very good to everybody and everybody scores well in his subject , he teaches maths . Ms. mrunmayee Ranade , is the worst faculty ever created , I don't even understand what she come and delivers and leave , even in lab , she is on phone all the time snf don't even nind what the students are doing , she teaches literally nothing . Some other teachers are really great , one mam is really short tempered, i mean ... overall it's ... nice I think , faculties are nice.

College is closed for girls after 6:30 and boys for after 8 , it's not situated in a safe locality so there no night life , hostels are closed by 9:30 , there's no gym in hostel , there are 5 cafeterias in the campus which are also closed by 6 , there a place called hotspot people do drugs and smoke their , non veg is also available there. Our everyday life includes , wake up in morning do our routine go to college attain the lectures and practicals, go to cafeterias , return hostel than rest for a while , have dinner and hostel is closed . So there's no life in this college. Any body can enter through hotspot , no security is provided there.
