Remarks

The admission procedure was so smooth like everything was well managed properly, the admission criteria included 60% as an average in PCM, and the age requirement to join was a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 21. The admission process was completely done through a seminar clearing out all short doubts, rules and regulations to be followed and many more

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because i love to cook and try and experiment new dishes on daily basis and i thought that hospitality management would be a perfect field of interest to fulfill my dreams. The faculty is too active and experienced in terms of teaching they help to clear out all the short obstacles you'll stuck to and the teaching method as of now is online due to pandemic and also they are managing it in a well organised manner by clearing out the doubts of students. The class ratio is of 45 students not that messy. I have completed my first year of bachelor's online so the exams and practicals were also conducted online and they took it in a strict manner so that students won't cheat which i think is a good way to promote.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

No, i haven't opted for any internship opportunity from my college as of now i am in my second year of my degree course and my college provides internship to the students in their third year and also they get highly recommended for job opportunities for their future.

Placement Experience

4.5

Yes, my college provides internship opportunities to the top students of the specific batch every year and also they get paid highly from in campus placement. The college doesn't guarantee for the placement but till now the students who have graduated have got a decent jobs in specific field of their interest like hotels, cruise ships or airlines.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not that high as our college comes in top colleges of India for the maritime training and catering so I guess the fee structures are good accordingly as per the course. I don't have much idea about scholarship as I applied as a normal admission and financial assistance is there you can take a bank loan or ask for some time they'll manage and on job campus stipend is there at the end of the third year they provide in college placement for the best students who can clear out interview round.

Campus Life

4.5

The college is based on maritime, so there are not many events or fests conducted on monthly basis and the availability of books and journals is provided on campus also the classroom has all the amenities as a normal classroom includes. If we will talk about sports and extracurricular activities then there is an event organized for inter-college students which include football and athletics and also if you qualify then they'll send you to state and then nationals.

Hostel Facilities

Exam Structure

You don't have to avail for any Entrance Exam or Provide Exam, normal admission are accepted on basis of your higher secondary studies

Admission

Yes, i had my interview online conference to avail for admission and in interview they mainly ask about your field of interest and skills in the particular field and knowledge if you have before joining. You don't have to give any written test and even no need for group discussion for joining.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus, academic timelines, rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl, indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly. Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems. And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics, chemistry, mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
