College life so far has been a boon for me. I have mixed with students of varied cultures and have been given umpteen number of opportunities from college. I have participated in events and workshops which have proved beneficial. It has really opened my eyes to the real world!
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is detailed with a focus on experiments and analysis. The first year includes physics and Math courses as well, but the next two years dig deep into the different branches of chemistry and their applications.
Placement Experience
No, the college does not offer internships but we are free to apply outside the college. However, there is a proactive placement cell in place and most of our seniors have been placed with the average package of Rs 2 lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is affordable enough for a private college. Tuition fee for each semester is Rs 28,000 and the whole course costs Rs 84,000. However, scholarships are also offered to a few meritorious students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, scholarships are offered to meritorious students on the basis of their 10+2 results. Our college also allows its students to opt for education loans, in case they hail from a less privileged background.
Campus Life
Though not many events take place, the college has excellent facilities with regards to extracurricular activities. It has a well equipped gym, a well-stocked library and an auditorium for different activities and seminars.
Hostel Facilities
The infrastructure of the college is very good. There are two separate hostels for girls and boys on-campus and a cafeteria. The hostels are very good, however, the hostel costs are not covered by scholarships, in case a student opts for one.
Admission
I took admission in this college in 2018. The admission procedure did not involve any exam but rather a review of our 10+2 scores. In some cases, they may also opt for an additional interview. I specifically opted for this course because of the college? reputation in Science and Commerce courses.
Faculty
The faculty is quite qualified and especially our honours teacher was one of the few reasons all of us were so attentive. I feel it would be more of an interest to students if the faculty used more diverse teaching methods.
