- The campus is basically built in the start of the early 1900s, so it looks like a perfect british system, the environment is clean and neat. It always feel good to get inside the campus. Every one would love to go.
- Best environments, clean surroundings, tidy classrooms, good and lenient staffs, the head of the department is the captain cool, everyone have the right to interact, no person is bullying. Skilled staffs.
- The staffs are mostly friendly, they don't scold unnecessarily,
Dislikes
- The dresscode is not maintained properly,
- Sometimes, the restrooms aren't maintained well
- Securities behave like they're the staffs sometimes
Course Curriculum Overview
I like the strategy of the defence bodies of the nation. The curriculum defenetely prepares one for the civil services or any kind of government sector jobs. The teaching methods could be more interactive with students. Even sem 3-4 months, odd sems 5-6 months.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the first year is ?8808 and the fee for next couple of years will be a ?1000 less. All candidates are eligible for scholarship except those who come under OC community. Mostly the admission is done on merit basis.
Campus Life
Defence fiesta'25 was the one which was recently held last week. The library is easily accessible, just enter and sign in the register, that's it. If you want to carry the book, you should get the library card. Only some classrooms have projectors. Sports and extracurricular activities are seen as best options in the college, the TamilNadu CM troply is also won by our department students.
Admission
I chose this college because it is a government aided college, and I got the seat in merit . No I didn't get regection from other colleges, the called me later for admission but I joined here before they called me. The admission process is simple, 12th STD in any stream is okay, the cutoff varys every year.
Faculty
There around 7-8 faculties for the department, they're mostly Friendly and are easily approachable for any sort of doubts, Karan Surya Varma is the most favourite staff of the department, he is mostly friendly and helpful in all the works related to studies and college. All the facilities are liked in our college, there is no one to be disliked. There are 6-8 subjects per semester, the difficulty lever is 70-80% only 20-30% of the total strength manage to clear all the exams. The course is fully related to the curriculum.
Night Life
The college has gym, and cafeteria but they're kind of old school, but it's okay. Campus in time is before 9:30 AM else the gate will be opened after 10:00 AM only. the college is located next to HARISH FOOD ZONE, it has several shops for food, bakery and supermarket. It is the best spot nearby to hangout.
