The syllabus taught in the college is proscribed by the university i.e. The Burdwan University. The college and university follows the rules of UGC guidelines and cannot deny any notification issued by UGC. So the exams are also taken on the semester basis.

The college organises many extracurricular activities like sports events, women counseling cells, cultural events, etc. There is no discrimination regarding gender, race, religion, economic status etc. There is an anti ragging cell also to prevent students from ragging.

The admission process to get admission in this college is online. The eligibility to get sleected in any course is different but in this course is minimum 45% marks in 12th standard and with business economics/maths as an compulsory subject.
