A Journey To Remember With Voorhees College

Choosing the oldest institution made my future ready as soon as I passed out from here. Additionally, my years in this institution were all fantastic. From well-designed classrooms, libraries, playground to wonderful faculties everything is brilliant. And I would love to mention the tranquil hostel ambience that made it easy to study after a tiresome day in the college.

I genuinely felt that the course structure was pretty unique. I have never seen an English program getting divided into semesters. It helped me cover all the chapters in the same flow as the college. My program was divided into six semesters in this three years full-time program.

Since I was a student of English department and also a student of this benchmark institution getting a secure job role in the industry was not at all hard. Therefore depending on college placement and internship is not at all required. Additionally, there are no such facilities offered from this college.

I spent around 80k on my English program which I felt it pretty expensive. I mean spending such a big amount for English major course is expensive. But the future that you get after passing out from this college is worth the money you spent.

Yes, one of my friend who belonged from the government quota availed of the scholarship program. However, the ones like me who belonged from the regular quota did not enjoy any opportunities as such. Furthermore, students coming from other state enjoyed free bus and train pass.

Another great thing about my college was its arrangement of extracurricular activities. From sports day to Christmas celebration every single occasion got celebrated here. I loved those time of the year since this changed the environment of our usual life.

I was an Arts student in my 12th. Therefore opting English as graduation major in Voorhees College was not that hard. I secured around 60% in my boards and the minimum marks requirement was 50% in overall along with the subject I was rooting for. However, there is some relaxation for the reserved category candidates.

I am lucky to study under some coolest mentors. Whenever I faced trouble with understanding particular prose or context, I sought their guidance. They helped me out each time. They are very supportive to make you stay focused on your studies.
