Remarks

Overall it is a very good college as you get every facility in the lab that you need. They do have sports ground , cafeteria facility , big auditorium , mess facility and hostel facility.Placements are also nice.

Entrance Preview

IPU-CET , I scored 300 and i opted for this college because it is the top college in my university .This college has all of the courses including IT, Computer science, electrical and electronics , mechanical.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum includes the following electives Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science , Mechanical.

Internships Opportunities

I went through the internship from outside of the college. It was a very nice experience , i learned about SAP ABAP technology and gained expertise of the IT world.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities are pretty good for computer science , IT and mechanical students as number of IT companies visits MAIT campus .MAIT also organizes pooled campus drives as well.

College Events

3.5

Fest , sports cultural events , sports meet , Fashion shows , Techno events like Robot wars and IT puzzles.Cultural fest includes Star night , kavi sammelan , MR & MISS MAIT , treasure hunt , air hockey and many more events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure keeps on changing from time to time.At the time when i studied from IP university , i had paid around 1 lakh per year and every year it is incrementing.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not hear about any such scholarship or loan facility offered by this college. The only offer this college gives is to the students who have 90 % above in 10th and 12th and the offer is that they provide laptops at very discounted price.

Campus Life

The campus life is on in this college. It was more about just study and study and not so much fun over here. The labs are good here , every facility that you need would be provided. The library in the campus is pretty good and very big .

Alumni/Alumna

I am already an alumni and several google groups have been created so that the teachers and alumnis of this college stay in touch .Also the currently enrolled students are also encouraged to join these groups.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is as below .Semester exams happens every 6 months and each semester consists of 3 micro exams and practicals. The micro exams are of 10 marks each and adds upto 30 marks and rest 70 marks are covered up in the semester exam.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college was average. Some of the faculty for computer science and computer courses were fine , not that good. But for the physics , chemistry and maths , they do very nice faculty.

My experience studying at NSIT

Likes

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.
