My College

My college comprises of only three departments making it a very small family and we are very happy to be a part of it.

Actually Ceramic is the kind of material that has enormous applications. To become a Ceramic Engineer one unofficially has to learn other engineering courses a bit as well. The course curriculum ensures that we have our necessary internships and even industrial visits that would ultimately help us in campus placements.

For the department Ceramic Technology the placement lies from 90-95 %. The college professors give their best so that students can avail necessary internships.

We have our cultural Fest, Technology fest (Karma Tek), we organise Saraswati Puja. We try to find out each and every tallented student so that they can show their capabilities by performing in those events. We have our own Union group for the management of these events.

Very less in fact since it is a state government aided college we also catagorise students as TFW, and other reservation qoutas. For Ceramic Technology -6000/year. For Computer Science and Engineering-12000/year. For Information Technology-19000/year. The college accepts a bank receipt every year and also provides the complete fee-breakdown and is fully transparent.

Yes, based on the scholarship opportunities mentioned from the office of our honorable Chief minister the college is the onefrom where students need to avail those scholarships. The scholarships are mainly based on higher secondary level marks and the income category. The sum is 60000/ year.

Well gender ratio is 10:3 mail- female. We are all friends in our college and as mentioned by our principal any kind of diversity will lead to the strickest actions. Well regular debates are organised based on political topics where one can only assume the mentalities of others?. Other than that we donot have a political union in our college.

No, but as part of this college I have a knowledge that hostel rooms are basically provided on the basis of distance of one's home and annual income. I have seen the hostel rooms and would definitely classify them as 4-star hotel rooms with wi-fi connections.

We actually have social media groups where our professors, seniors, aluminis are a part. They are always ready to help to whoever ask for it.

Ceramic technology is one of the most sophisticated streams of Engineering which basically deals with inorganic chemistry. Personally I like inorganic chemistry a lot so I chose this stream after seeing the details. And my college is the one out of very less government aided college that provides you the opportunity to take this B-Tech course. I sat for WBJEE in 2019, I secured a rank 5211 and then in the first round of online counselling I got the chance to take admission here. Next after two weeks I physically reported in my institution and they provided us a stipulated date to join the college.

Our college probably has one of the best faculty members in our country. They are very helpful, they regularly gives lectures and Ceramic Technology being a sophisticated stream we all have to depend more on our highly educated professors. They train us for our lives.
