Remarks

Very good management and principal was too good in behaviour. Ms hemalata reddy.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course and curriculum was though tough. If you are science student then you have focus more and do hard work. Lab work is too realistic. Interesting facts and work was shared by professors. South Indian teachers are best in imparting education and training.

Placement Experience

3

Placement was good. So many private companies provide you job. But I suggest you to take professional course in any field and do your job accordingly. I done my B. Ed after graduation and now I am in delhi govt school.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible as it is government college. During 2007 to 2010 they charged around 6000 yearly that is very low as compared to many private colleges and delhi university provide you huge number of course and opportunities to improve your spoken and all round development.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didnt opted for any educational loan as fees is very low around 6000 annually. So everyone can afford it.

Campus Life

5

Campis life- Awesome, specially an interovort person can change into very good person with good communication skills. Gender ratio vary in different courses. Like in Biological science girls were 90percent than boys and in arts courses tje ratio were 50%.

Hostel Facilities

5

No I didn't opted for hostel as I was living with my parents nearbx college. I use public transport and metro for movement. And hostel was very good my some of friends were staying there and they were very satisfied.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes it is helpful. But generally all were busy in their work and mostly settled abroad and doing research work in Germany and many other countries.

Admission

Merit based on class 12 result. First fill online form then wait for the merit list to be published on newspapers or internet. Reach college with all your respective documents and contact admission incharge and get enrolled. Simple steps but these time the merit is very high.

Faculty

5

Timings were 8-45am to 5-15pm it includes 3hrs lab daily. So please be mentally prepared and don't bunk class as it give burden on you. Try not to take part in extra curricular activities if you are a science student because you can't focus on lecture and lab.

Hindu College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Jan 6, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented

Placement Experience:

Actually, when we entered in a college, we saw the placement portal of the college. It showed like eight or nine l p of average package, and we were like quite delighted, like we can secure that placement.Even our professors also motivated us for placements. But actually seniors told us about the placements scenario of the college. The reality is that only three or four courses actually get placed.Even those three or four courses less than thirty forty max, fifty percent students get placed. This is the.Reality of placement system talking about internship. Most of the people seek for off campus, internship opportunities and to be honest, my career plans are currently are aligned with either preparing for cat and then getting an I.M or preparing for a government job like I b p s bank pure s b I pu
