All about PDPU

If you want to enjoy your daily lives along with your study then PDPU is a go. As PDPU takes care of overall development of the student, one must always look forward towards PDPU before taking admission in any other university but only if it is financially comfortable.

Yes the day remains very hectic as our timings are from 9. 00am to 6. 00pm and it contains daily minimum of 4 lectures sometimes even more than that and a laboratory session. Our course curriculum is also good which covers almost all the portion which are necessary.

Placement in our field is about 80%. And yes our college provides internships at the regular interval of time during vacations. Stipend is not given to us but we are sent for internship for the learning process in our particular field.

PDPU is best when it comes to events as it organises major events like TESSARACT- technical event PETRO CUP - Gujarat's biggest sports event FLARE- cultural event And many other events are held on festive days like INDEPENDENCE DAY, REPUBLIC DAY, NAVRATRI- rangtaal, UTTRAYAN and also many other small scale events are organised at regular intervals

Fee is little expensive but worth paying as PDPU takes care of our overall development and our fee is about 2, 25, 000 per year. But as it gives all the facilities like AC class rooms numerous no. Of clubs to take part in fascinating campus, so it is worth paying fees.

PDPU offers scholarship to the students who are there in the top 7 of their batch which gives relaxation of about 50% fees. And all the other government scholarships which are available are given to each possible students to help them who are economically backward.

Extra curricular activities such as labs sports extra are good college has very good lab and very good playground nearby every weekend we have sports and every working day we have lab for 2 hr 3 hrs

Hostel here is good with all the facilities given. All the rooms are air conditioned. We are given the wifi and LAN internet facilities are given to all the students. And the rooms are cleaned every alternative days which is hygienically very good for the students living here. PGs are also available in the nearby area which is little less expensive than hostel but itcontains less facilities when compared to hostels. And the avg rentals to be paid by a student per month is about 1500/- per month per student.

Seniors here are very good and very friendly with us. We regularly are in contact with them in the campus, in the hostels and wherever possible, so the alumni network is good and are helpful to us in every possible way.

I got admission on the basis of merit rank. Admissions in our college is based on merit ranks, personal interviews, entrance exam based on the field in which we are interested to get admissions. I took civil engineering because it was the only interest of mine over other courses.

All the faculties in our batch is good infact they are superb as all the faculties are PhD qualified and their knowledge in their field is really sound and fantastic. They are ready to share their knowledge at any given time and are ready to help in every possible way.
