The Mar Thoma college is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University and offers 12 undergraduate,10 postgraduate and 7 doctoral programes.This college is also accredited by the NAAC.The college is ranked 92 in all India.The weak aspect of the college tends only to focus on the academic level so they don't encourage the idea of fun and entertaining programmes.The college also has poor intrest in sports although they have good teams in football, cricket etc but the college management do not support them much. I opted for this college because of the campus and its atmosphere and also the academic level of this college. All the staff and lecturers are well equipped with their jobs in hand and the college offers very good labs for the practical side of education. The one change this college will bring to yor life is that education can be fun too.The fershers in the college was good as the seniors arranged several programs to entertain us and made us feel right at home.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is my First course in this college.The learning opportunities are very good and the college provides more than enough with the students needs with labs,teachers and there is also a library.The good aspects of this college prior to the program i chose is the lab for the practicals and also the teachers.
Campus Life
There is an anual fest conducted by different departments. The fest is named accordingly by the department which they conduct.The library is always filled with books of every kind and suits everyone's needs. There are several social groups run by students Like MTC in instagram and several other groups which ate informative as well as entertaining.
