Course Curriculum Overview

4

I am in first year, and so far i have all i have seen is only theoritical knowledge which i guarantee you will have no effect on real life problems. I don't think that computer science student grinding some rod in mechanical workshop will land him in microsoft or Google. I mean college's whole point of making student have to study all the subjects of different departments is so that he can have insight of all the branches and if he likes he can change it. But let me clear it, a student who wants to change his branch knows it at beginning of semester. Changing is also quite tough. You have to secure above 9 gpa and for that you need to scan the professors notes like scanned copy by CamScanner.

Placement Experience

2.5

I will answer it in branch wise scenario: 1. CSE: institute treats them like how every son in law is treated in indian family. Usually gets placed. Most companies come for them. 2. ECE: Jon snow in stark family (if you have watched GOT then you will get this). Only hope is uncle benjin(intel) who takes him to night's watch(job) 3. EEE: only one word: POWERGRID 4. civil and mechanical: placements for them is like finding oasis in desert. You get it only when you are lucky.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is based on income of family(per semester): 1.If family income is above 5 lakhs: around 1 lakh is fees 2. if family income is below 5 lakhs and above 1 lakh: around ?40000 3. If family income is less than 1 lakh: full waived (this is for SC and ST) ?12000 extra for hostel ?18000 extra for mess Hostel and mess compulsory for all except day scholars

Fees and Financial Aid

No i haven't but i have seen students take education loans some merit based too. And here on the basis of merit and SC ST reservation. Students get ?50000 for buying laptop. Suppose student buys ?70000 laptop then college will fund ?50k and ?20k has to be paid by student.

Campus Life

1

Campus Life is same as what i expected to be from an engineering college. Boring lectures, lots of assignments at campus. Hostel is major enjoyment source. Every another day we have a birthday boy and every one attends it(its free cake so why not?). There are very less girls in this course. Male to female ratio is 3:1. There are people from delhi, bihar, gujarat, andhoura and many more. Say there's a event which requires each student to represent 29 states we have all of them. Exception jammu and kashmir. Though these many diverse people are there but never seen anyone fighting for proving superiority of one's culture. We all are united by common frustation of engineering.

Hostel Facilities

3

I stay at hostel. I am in first year and hostel is outside campus. Two hostel are provided BH-13 and BH-11. While BH-13 is quite good in infrastructure BH-11 is like horror movie haweli. Wifi is not provided for first year hostellers and on top of that we get incredible internet speed of 35 KBPS(yes it is Kilobyte per second) from vodafone and airtel since Jio hasn't installed tower in area.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors we have are by far the most helpful we can get. Only you have to reach out to them else they are too lazy to reach out to you.

Faculty

4

There are quite a lot of faculty members in each department. And to be honest everyone is really qualified in his/her own field. I see many professors holding Dr. Tag in their name so they must have qualified the requirements of the qualification. But see expertise in own field is one thing but conveying it and explaining others about it is whole different story. Problem is professors have good expertise in their knowledge, right from concepts to the further beyond but they somehow fail to explain it to students.

I do not have much idea about this field. If I'm not wrong internships begin from 2nd to 3rd year itself, and placements from 4th year. The avergae package here is around 6 LPA, and the highest package offered is 56 LPA. That'll be all from side.

After 5th semester, the college has on-campus internship options and after during 7th semester, you will be eligible to sit for campus placements. Many companies come for campus placement including IBM, NVIDIA, Deloitte, etc. PLacements for CSE, ECE, and EEE are very good. In 2023 highest placement was from EEE of 44 lakhs from NVIDIA. In Mechanical most of the students get PPO. For Civil, very least options are available. Usually, 80% of students get placed every year.
