The admission Process is totally based on the jee mains marks. So one must try to get a high rank in jee mains students who wish to join NIT Sikkim, must prepare well 12 syllabi thoroughly to get competitive marks in jee mains exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
Term exams are generally held on time and exams are conducted at a scheduled time. I think students must prepare and study seriously from first day to get a good CGPA of more than 8.0. Overall it is not very difficult to pass the exams.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies that offer internships to students of NIT Sikkim and they offer software-related work in their company. They generally offer provides candidates with a great learning platform for them.
Placement Experience
Companies offer various packages to deserving candidates which ranges from 30 lakhs to 5 lakhs for CSE students. Approximately 90 percent of CSE students got placed from campus. I will go for the PG program.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various scholarships available for b.tech students to apply and get fee waivers. Students can get education loans from banks and different companies come here to recruit students. Students of CSE can get a campus job easily with a good stipend.
Campus Life
There are many social groups run in the college. Students can join these groups. There are also clubs that offer students to join as per their interests. There are also a few websites that are run by some students.
Hostel Facilities
The Locality of college is very charming and cold. It has scenic beauty all around which will definitely be a must place to visit. College provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls separately. Some hostels are within the campus and some are near the campus.
