A Brief Journey about my College Life

IT course was getting attention at that time CSE and IT was getting more job offers so many students decided to go for cse and IT Timing of exams is 3 hours but if you are good students you can complete it in 2 hours with ease

from 6th sem students become eligible for campus placement more than 100 companies visited in my year but around 90 students didn't get placed and many students who got job offers the didnt recevied joining letter from companies like dxc Bangalore and Titan Highest package was off campus which was 24 Lpa one students got placed in Samsung and one student on Campus got 16LPA in Nomura

The year-wise fees is 185000 per year Tuition fees - Rs. 187200/Yr , caution fees - 10000, registration fees - 1000 Sikkim Quota - 111000/Semester Merit cum Means scholarship typically ranges from 30-40% on the course fees for B.tech Eligibility for the scholarship is applicable for economically weeker student where family annual income must be less than 8 Lakh

The Annual fest name is Kaalrav where many bollywood singers Visit in my time Shirley Setia, the local trains, Villian and many more There are tons of books in the library and the library infrastructure is very awsome as compaired to ther colleges Classroom include projectors A big ground for cricket, football, basketball and Marena for badminton and basketball it has swimming pool also There are many college clubs run by Students

2 Bed, seperate almiras Clean washroom, Fan, study table and wrack hostel doesnot require any AC because of weather tempeature in Winter goes below 5 degree in night and in summer around 18-20 degree Meal is not upto the mark, Menu is good 4 day veg 3 day non veg include chicken, egg and fish chicken you will get 2 piece only extra you get gravy same for egg and fish too. veg menu includes Rice, dal, Aloo bhujia, vegetable, mix veg and sunday morning dosa and thursday night may be chola bhatora or may be chola poori * Hostel is for scholarsh there is no entry for day scholarsh you can visit but you can't stay for night as there is daily attendance * You can't avail PG if you are not local as there is Hotels near by no PG within 5 KMs

KIIT, VITEEE, SRM but i choose SMIT as i got 63 rank in SMIT entrance exam and i got IT course so i choose SMIT and also because of infrastructure and the Weather No i didn't got rejected i got offer from other college which gave me my choice of course so i choose that Admission process is easy, when you visit for admission first admission who got good marks in JEE the will get first admission and then other will get upon ranking in entrance test and some seat is reserved for Local of Sikkim students

On 82 Students there are total 7-8 faculty department wise Joydeep Sir helped me in my lab and other thing also in my studies There is total 2 Unit Tests, 2 Sessional and 2 Semester. Exam depends some time its easy some times it will be out of syllabus unit test are option based exam sessional is 50 marks exam and semester is of 80 marks. Many students fails the exam and for reappear you have to pay Rs. 1000 per subject

Only SMIT Admission Test no Group Discussion, no interview or written test for the admission For B.Tech student must have atleast 45%in 12th board and 40% for reserved categories For PG admission a btech degree with 50% marks

There is gym not that much spacious but with all the equipment, there are cafeterias in each block of hostel like for ABC block there is 1 night cafertia which opens from 11PM - 2AM, hostel gate closed after 10 PM and open in morning 5 AM Famous hangout place is Mall road and marena, marena is having diff diff food courts like dominos and north indian cloud kitchen
