Remarks

Observe every management personnel. They may be your friend or your enemy. There is an air of sexism against girls which is something to be aware of.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Well, the education is marketed as a liberal education. I must say it's close to what they promised but still far from expected standards. Course curriculums were a practice of trial and error so you never know if your course actually turns out to be the way it's shown. Exam structure is extremely good. They have a relative grading system which is a great practice in qualitative exams.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements are ok only in financial services. The rest have zero to some placement opportunities. But they are improving in placements each year

College Events

3

Kurukshetra - inter college festival. It was great when I was there for thouree years but I have heard from my juniors that the administration is struggling to keep the event lively due to too many interventions on their side which didn't allow the students to organise the way they had originally planned to

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive. Its nearly ten lakhs a year for a thouree year undergraduate course. The fee keeps increasing each year. The fee breakdown is fairly transparent. You know where your money is going, you'll only know if it's worth it when you study and live there. There aren't any "extra fees" for admission to my knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

Didnt opt for any scholarships, and have no knowledge about the same for the college as it caters mostly to the upper and upper middle classes of society

Campus Life

5

Girls to boys is a higher ratio. There are sports complexes which again might be the best in the country. Indoor basketball, badminton, snooker, swimming pool. Professional sized cricket grounds and football grounds along with volleyball and thouree tennis courts. The sports facilities here are great. One must exploit this as you'll never get anything like this anywhere in a city

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostels are compulsory as the campus is around 10kms away from the city centre. The living premises is probably one of the best in the country. Large spacious rooms sharing between two. Bathourooms are extremely clean and well maintained. You get your money's worth with premises. Views from the rooms are extraordinary as the campus is situated between a range of hills.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is great and it's building. People keep in touch even after years of passing out. Professors as well keep in touch and help out whenever they can.

Admission

I filled an online application form, based on my language skills I got called in for an interview, a general test, group discussion. After that you get intimated whether you have received admission or not. After that you pay the first semesters fees. Once you pay that youre in

Faculty

3

Some faculty is absolutely great. They can inspire you and actually you'd want to be in class for their lectures. But some part of the faculty have great knowledge in their field but aren't great educators. It feels like they are teaching you only because the university requires them to so the professors can work on their own research.

Students become eligible from 5th semester for placement. Companies like Goldman Sachs, deshaw, colgate visit our campus and 200+ offers are made. Highest package is around 24 lpa and average is 6 lpa. 50% students get placement. My plans getting the degree is to prepare for mba.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

I am interested in the banking and finance since 11th because of my good accounts in this college I am able to learn the different aspects of banking and finance the college also held some mentoring about the course and career guidance. One thing I don't like is the test they took every time when one lesson got finish they took the test and us that any of the test will consider as internal and just before the exam they give so many projects and assignments and also tell us to complete the book then only they will give the internal marks and allow to write the external

Campus placements are done after the completion of the third year. Many companies come to the campus for the placement procedure. 85% of students get placed, and the remaining will always get placed out of the campus because a degree from NMIMS has a very huge value out in India.
