Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is very strong it's one of the main decisions i joined this college. Our curriculum don't much work for real life work but gives a very good knowledge about things. Teaching methods are average but constant tests keep students focused.

Internships Opportunities

3

Companies like deshaw, morgan stanley, jp Morgan and Goldman Sachs offer finance and marketing roles like operations manager, data entry, sales. I don't know much about projects and outcomes as I didn't apply for any internship.

Placement Experience

3

Students become eligible from 5th semester for placement. Companies like Goldman Sachs, deshaw, colgate visit our campus and 200+ offers are made. Highest package is around 24 lpa and average is 6 lpa. 50% students get placement. My plans getting the degree is to prepare for mba.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college fees is 360000 per year including 200000 base tuition fee 96000 other fees 4000 library fees 60000 building fees no hostel fee included . 5000 was entrance registration fee. The fees of other degrees like btech is even higher with 425000 per year. No scholarship available.

Campus Life

2

There is one major annual festival with some small activities going on typically held in March. Classrooms are equipped with AC and smartboards. Books are all available in a big library. Sports and extracurricular of my college is actually pretty much a dead scene. There are lot of clubs but mostly do nothing in campus as our campus is small and outside activities are expensive

Admission

I applied to iim indore, rohtak and amity. I got confirmed admission from nmims and amity. I got rejected from iim due to failing their entrance. My college has admission process of entrance then selection.

Faculty

1

Faculty to student ratio is medium with like 1 faculty for every 20 students. Faculties are very less approachable they have very bad attitude. I don't like a single faculty there all have a very bad attitude and think as if they are most learned people in the world There are lot of internal and one external exam per subject. Lot of students fail as external exams have a separate passing criteria. However the course curriculum is very updated.

Night Life

4

Nightlife in my college is dead as college closed at night but locality is safe to roam at night. The Good part is mumbai has a bustling nightlife so that makes it a plus point and there no hostel timings as there is no hostel provided by college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall superb rating I would give to my course curriculam. The specialization we have finace with marketing and Hr with marketing definately help us in our career journey as well as in the growing and dynamic world. They guide us well and help us to develop for real world. Overall its great but needs to improve in areas like giving extra mentorship to the students for interview, job preparation and related field. The overall timing exam are well managed and scheduled well.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell in the college which looks after student internship and placements students can apply for internships from the 2nd year of their course onwards as for placemts they can apply in their last year, but to apply for placement students have to pay a fee of 1500rs to be added in the group for placement from where they can apply, almost 60 % of students are placed from the college getting average lpa around 600000 and many companies such as Bane, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley,Zomato etc come for placement and as well as internship many of my friends have recived and PPO as well after doing their Internship In their 2nd year as welli personally plan to go for further studies abroad after college to gain more experience and explore career as I still have to decided on what I want to do so the best cou8would be for me to go explore and get a wider perceptive

After the completion of the 2nd-semester students were eligible for the campus interviews. The finance tycoons like Muthoot, and HDFC visited for the interviews. The highest package offered by the company was 3 lakh per annum and the average package was 1.5 lakh per annum. The percentage of students getting selected was 50%. As was selected in Muthoot finance I gained 1-year experience there and I got a better offer from a iifl finance company.
