Firstly, previous year I was already in a state government college. Muzaffarpur institute of technology. So, I did my jee preparation altogether with their college things. Admission process of my college i.e NIT is jossa and csab , I got this college from csab counselling. My rank was 88k .and i got nit sikkim civil in 3rd round of csab counselling. You have to take an Entrance exam named JEE Mains and then go for counseling (Josaa or CSAB or preferably both) I got into this college in the second round of CSAB. IJEE mains will be available 3 months before the exam on the JEE mains official website. The questions in this exam is based on PCM of 10+2 level only of the CBSE curriculum After you clear this exam, based on your percentile and preference you will get a college and branch. You have to pay a certain amount to either lock or upgrade your seat. SC/ST students have to pay comparatively low fees and they get a college in the 80-90 percentile also. But if you are a General /OBC candidate, you get a college if you score at least above the 90 percentile.
