Remarks
According to me its positive and good college @Nit sikkim. Negative Remark one and only one is high sharing of rooms and food is not up to mark in institute mess for adjustable to students other than north east.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is sufficient and exam pattern here at Nit Sikkim is 2 Mid semesters each of 15 marks each. 20 marks for internal assignment projects and attendence. Rest 50 marks is taken by the End semester exam.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are also good but not best as Sikkim is so hilly and not well equipped with development and colder climate throughout year lesser number of companies are coming but still almost 80 % student gets palced I believe as per students quality they should be placed better
College Events
Events celebrated at my College are : 1. Abiyantaran (Annual Technical Fest ). 2. Udgam ( Annual Cultural Fest). 3. Annual Sports Meet. 4. Cricket tournament ( for all facultys and student). 5. Unity Day program and Swachatta abhiyan.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is feasible. As per government norms students whose parental annual income is less than 1 lakh have no academics fees. And if parental income is between 1 to 5 lakh 1/3 amount approx 45000. Else full fees to be paid that is 125000 per year . For Sc and St full fee is remmited.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes . Scloarships are being provided as national scholarship is allowed to be filled provided by NSP . and student here also apply state and other ngo scholarship application. For. Me I am availing Nsp scholarship for university and college student.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities are well equipped labs facility. Sports equipment are also being issued.Compuer Labs and Multi purpose Hall are open till night 12 for studying to students. Well Medical facility any time provided.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I have opted hostel. Hostel infrastructure is good rooms are good but sharing is high due unavailiblity of more number of hostels. No new construction allowed as running at temporary campus .and facilities are good . My rating should be 4 out of 5.
Alumni/Alumna
No Comments preferably on alumuni Network. Senior studen usally are helpful for new students here at Nit Sikkim for their industrial starting as well as for academics help motivate guide their juniors.
Admission
Yes. On the basis of Jee Mains rank a Online counselling held by JOSAA (Joint seat allocation Authority ) is seat allotment process for intake of student admission at National Institute of Technology Sikkim.
Faculty
Nice facultys Shows full dedication towards student. They also help students for queries otside of the curriculum topics. Like for mine brach my faculty helps ne a lot on my project work and motivate me to learn new topics for industrial aspects development as well as coding.
