Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure for the economics program was very vast. There was so much to cover in three years. Compiling them in the sets of six semesters was done nicely. The lectures are also not enough for themselves. I had to study on my own as well. I am planning to pursue a Ph.D.
Placement Experience
Placement is almost nil in our college. We have limited corporate assistance in securing a job.
College Events
Many health programs and welfare activities such as sponsoring poor students, giving personal counseling, etc. are also carried out. The faculty keeps on pushing the students in taking part in cultural activities. It gave us an opportunity to interact with people from different cultural backgrounds.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for my B.A. program was very good. Since it is a deemed university, the fee is very less. It only cost me around 2500 Rs. for the entire year. All the additional charges were also pretty nominal.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are available for students from the economically weaker background. Students from reserved categories can also avail of a concession in the fee structure.
Campus Life
The campus life is pretty much relaxed, but it mainly depends upon your course. We had limited practical sessions, hence we had a lot of free time our hand after classes. The college buildings are also good.
Admission
Admission to all UG courses is on a merit basis. The more you score, the better the chances of getting admission.
