Remarks

Its a good college with some drawbacks. They have a brilliant staff but some non teachingstaff are pathetic. Like the assitant in library is rude and arrogant but thats ok since the college and principal helps the students in that part too.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is decided my the University Of Rajasthan which is well planned according to the need of the education system. The have different courses offering semester system as well as annual exams. In 3 year LLB the student has to cover 27 core subjects of law divided into 3 years. In 5 year law they have law subjects integrated with your basic graduation subjects of B.Com, BBA, BA which you have to opt at the time of admission. Since its a dual degree programme the student has to study more subjects as compared to three year programme. And they have two semesters every year which makes a total of 10 semesters in 5 years. In 3 year LLB there is no semester, you have annual exam pattern for every year.

Placement Experience

0.5

No there is no placement cell in this college. Although it is a basic requirement in present competition but this is one of the biggest demerit of this college. Yes the college recommnends the students for the internship but in practice there are very few possibilities that they offer any stipend. I have taken the intenrship at jaipur district and sessions court last year under Advocate R.S Yadav Advocstes ans Associates which was thorough and knowledge enhancing experience for me.

College Events

3

Freshers party, Farewell party, Alumni meet, National seminar, Moot court, Court visits, Etc. The college conducts several events from time to time to groom the personal skills and knowledge of the students and such activites keep the atmosphere active and energised.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its is very feasible as compared to other colleges or universities in Jaipur. For 3 year LLB the fees is Rs 22000 per year and for 5 year LLB it is Rs 35000 per semester. TH he fees structure is very convinient and flexible as you can pay the fees in installments also.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers the 100% scolarship to the minority students for which they have the minimum percentage criteria. No I haven't availed any scholarship. The scholarship is avaible to onle the minority person. The scholarship amount is directly goes to the student bank account.

Campus Life

3.5

There is computer lab and library as a part of facility but no sports activity. The college has taken subscription of many law sites which are helping the students to grabe the knowledge. The college contains lots of books related to law which help the students.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

No hostel facility available. The college is making a plan to open an hostel in the college. The committe has formed by the trust related to this matter. The committee making a planning to open a hostel in college.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they do have alumni network and they really helpful in academics as well as in career too. The senior guide the students in very manner. They share there experience with the student. They motivate the student to make there life in the law.

Admission

After completion of my B.com, I want to pursue a professional course. Since childhood I had a keen interest in law, legal proceedings and judiciary. So LLB was the best option for me to pursue my career in my field of interest. So I decided to pursue my Law Graduation from Jaipur only and for that I inquired about the top colleges and universities offering this programme in Jaipur. The Maharishi Dayanand Law College is among the top colleges in Jaipur offering several programmes in Law alike 3 year LLB, 5 year integrated Law graduation, LLM to be started soon under the ageisis of Arya Samaj. So I appeared before the admininstrative officer of the college with my CV and Marksheets and as I was qualifying the minimum percentage criteria I was eligible for admission. As a part of interview I was asked some basic questions and thanks to my luck I got the admission to this college.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty at this college are highly experienced and qualified. Some of the faculties are prcticing advocates who are capable to update the students with the practical aspects of law as well. The faculties here are no less than the Bank of Knowledge. They are also the Guest faculties and examiners at different platforms in the universities and colleges.

Overall the college is good to pursue Law in the city but it is not the best college. If you are serious about doing law and making a career in this field. Than this college should not be on your 1st preference list. Though you can keep it as a back-up college.
