Deshbandhu college is a government college hence fee structure is very reasonable which helps the students coming from economically weaker section to continue their higher education. The yearly fee structure is about Rs7000 p.a. while the exam fee is additional Rs.60 per paper twice a year.

The college is a co-education college which gives equal opportunity to boys and girls. Gender ratio of the college is appreciable. There is a separate women harassment cell which consists of lecturers and seniors students who takes care of any mis-happening against girls.
