Which is better for B.Tech admissions - IIIT Bhubaneswar or CET Bhubaneswar or VSSUT Burla?

All three have their own pros and cons.You need to consider the following factors while making your choice-

• Faculty- CET has the best faculty among the three. VSSUT and IIIT are at par with each other in this respect.

• Research Opportunities- All three are lacking in this regard. Their infrastructure and faculty support isn’t good enough. 

• Crowd- VSSUT and CET offer a variety of courses. IIIT Bhubaneswar offers engineering degrees in limited branches. Thus, VSSUT and CET will give you exposure to people from different academic interests.

• Alumni- VSSUT and CET (OUTR) are both old institutions, so they have a strong alumni network.

• Infrastructure- CET and VSSUT have huge campuses, but their hostels lack modern infrastructure. IIIT Bhubaneswar has a small campus, but top notch hostel facilities.

• Placement- Very few core companies visit each campus, and offer limited vacancies. Only the top performers secure a job in core sectors through campus recruitments. Because of this, students of all branches sit for IT placements. At present, IIIT attracts better IT companies. 

• Campus life- In this case, VSSUT is the best choice. Throughout the year, its campus organizes plenty of events and competitions. IIIT has a decent campus life, but CET isn’t a good choice in this respect.

Depending on these factors, choose wisely among these three for your Engineering studies.
