DGME Uttar Pradesh has released the UP NEET PG Round 1 Seat Matrix 2026 at upneet.gov.in. It lists 5,679 PG seats across government, private, and deemed colleges. Reporting at allotted colleges runs till November 2.
The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh has released the Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (UP NEET PG) 2026 Round 1 Seat Matrix. The matrix is available on the official portal at upneet.gov.in. It covers MD, MS, PG Diploma, DNB, and MDS seats across the state.
The state offers a total of 5,679 postgraduate medical seats under Round 1. These seats are spread across government, private, and deemed institutions. The matrix lists college-wise, course-wise, and category-wise seat distribution.
Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must now report at the allotted college. The reporting and joining window runs from October 26 to November 2, 2026. Unfilled seats will move to the Round 2 counselling pool.

The seat matrix is hosted as a PDF on the DGME portal. Candidates can view and download it in a few steps.
- Open the official DGME portal at upneet.gov.in.
- Click on the News and Notification tab on the home page.
- Select the UP NEET PG 2026 Round 1 Seat Matrix link.
- Open the PDF document in a new tab.
- Download and save the file for reference.
The state quota covers more than half of all PG medical seats in Uttar Pradesh. Private colleges hold a slightly higher share than government institutions this year. This gives candidates wider choice across fee bands and clinical exposure.
