TSCHE has released the TS ECET 2026 counselling schedule on tgecet.nic.in. Registration opens on June 15 for diploma and BSc Mathematics candidates. Processing fee is Rs 1200 for general and Rs 600 for SC/ST applicants.
The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) 2026 counselling schedule on the official portal at tgecet.nic.in. The notification covers admissions into Engineering and BSc (Mathematics) lateral entry seats for the 2026 academic year. Registration for the first phase begins on June 15, 2026.
The counselling will be held entirely online for qualified candidates. Slot booking and certificate verification will follow the payment of the processing fee. Aspirants must complete each step in the prescribed order to be considered for seat allotment.

Official Notification
Processing Fee for TS ECET 2026 Counselling
Candidates must pay the non-refundable processing fee online before booking a slot. The fee depends on the candidate category, as listed below.

Payment can be made through credit card, debit card, or net banking. Candidates should check daily transaction limits on their card before paying. Payment may fail if the daily limit is exceeded.
How to Register for TS ECET 2026 Counselling?
Registration follows a fixed sequence on the official portal. Candidates must complete every step on the schedule. The steps are listed in order below.
- Visit the official portal at tgecet.nic.in.
- Pay the processing fee through an accepted online mode.
- Book a slot for certificate verification at the chosen Help Line Centre.
- Attend the centre on the booked date with original documents.
- Complete candidate registration after successful verification.
- Login and enter course and college options in order of preference.
- Save the option list, take a printout, and log out securely.
Login Credentials and SMS Activation
Candidates must activate their login by sending an SMS to 9731979899. The required format is TGECET 01 YourHTNo. Login credentials will be issued only after this SMS request is processed.
Help Line Centres for Certificate Verification
The Help Line Centres (HLCs) for document verification are listed in Annexure I of the official notification. Candidates can choose any HLC across Telangana at the time of slot booking. The list is available on the council portal.

Documents Required for Verification
Candidates must carry originals along with two sets of photocopies. The standard list includes the following documents.
- TS ECET 2026 rank card and hall ticket
- Diploma or BSc (Mathematics) marks memo
- SSC or equivalent certificate
- Study certificates from Class 4 to Diploma or BSc
- Transfer certificate
- Income certificate for fee reimbursement claims
- Caste certificate, where applicable
- Aadhaar card and recent passport-size photographs
Counselling Rounds and Seat Allotment
The TS ECET 2026 counselling will be held in multiple phases. Candidates who are not allotted a seat or who wish to upgrade can take part in later rounds. The seat allotment letter must be downloaded from the portal after every phase.

TS ECET is the only lateral entry route to second-year BE, BTech and BPharmacy seats in Telangana. A missed counselling slot cannot be reopened later. Booking early gives a wider choice of HLC dates and reduces last-day server load.
