Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 counselling process on the official portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The counselling is now likely to begin from June 13, 2026. The delay stems from pending seat matrix approval by the Karnataka government.

KEA had earlier targeted June 10 to June 15 for document verification. Candidates have been asked to wait for the formal counselling notification. The revised schedule will be confirmed on the official KEA portal.

The seat matrix lists branch-wise and category-wise seat distribution across colleges. KEA released the draft engineering seat matrix on June 2, 2026. Stakeholders were given seven days to file objections on the draft.
