The Joint Admission Counselling Delhi (JAC Delhi) has declared the Round 1 seat allotment result for the academic session 2026-27 on the official portal at jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in. The result was released on June 15, 2026, after 5 PM for BTech and BArch admissions across the five participating institutes in Delhi.
Candidates who registered for JAC Delhi 2026 counselling can now log in with their application number and password to check their allotted seat. The allotment letter is available for download from the candidate dashboard on the official portal.

Allotted candidates must complete the seat acceptance steps within the official window. Missing any of these deadlines will lead to automatic cancellation of the allotted seat.

How to Check JAC Delhi 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result?
The seat allotment letter can be downloaded only through the official portal. Candidates should follow the steps listed below.
- Visit the official portal at jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in.
- Click on the link for Round 1 seat allotment result on the homepage.
- Enter the application number and password to log in.
- The allotted seat details will appear on the screen.
- Download the allotment letter and take a printout for records.
What Are the Seat Acceptance Options After Allotment?
After checking the allotted seat, candidates have to choose from three options on the portal. Each option leads to a different next step in the counselling process.
- Freeze: The candidate accepts the allotted seat and does not wish to be considered for upgradation in later rounds.
- Float: The candidate accepts the allotted seat but stays in the running for a better seat in the next round.
- Withdraw: The candidate exits the counselling process and gives up the allotted seat.
Candidates choosing Freeze or Float must pay the seat acceptance fee online and report to the allotted institute for document verification within the official window.
Documents Required at the Time of Reporting
Candidates reporting to the allotted institute must carry the original documents along with self-attested copies. Missing any document at the verification stage can lead to cancellation of the allotment.
- JEE Main 2026 scorecard and admit card
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
- Category certificate, if applicable
- PwD certificate, if applicable
- Domicile certificate for Delhi region candidates
- Two recent passport size photographs
- Photo identity proof such as Aadhaar or PAN card
- Seat acceptance fee payment receipt

Round 1 sees the highest seat movement in JAC Delhi counselling. Top branches at DTU and NSUT often close within the first two rounds. Candidates who skip the acceptance steps now may lose their best chance at a preferred seat.
