DES Pune University has officially opened the admission process for multiple academic programmes for the 2026–27 academic session. The university is currently inviting online applications for its MBA, Bachelor of Design (B.Des), and B.Ed programmes. DES Pune University Admission 2026 - Who Can Apply?

For the B.Des program, applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a government-approved institution. Alternatively, candidates holding a diploma in any stream with at least 60% marks are also eligible. Selection for the programme is based on valid scores obtained in UCEED, NIFT, NATA, NID, or PERA examinations conducted between November 2024 and September 2026, or through the Remote Proctored Online DESPU UCET examination.

For the MBA programme with specialisations in Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources, candidates must hold a three-year graduation degree in any stream from a UGC-approved institution or university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Admission is based on scores from national or state-level management entrance examinations such as CAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT, PERA, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, SNAP, MAH-CET, or the Remote Proctored Online DES PU PCET, conducted between November 2025 and September 2026. The university will also consider the candidate’s past academic record and relevant work experience, where applicable.

For B.Ed admission, candidates must have completed a three-year graduation degree in any stream from a UGC-approved institution with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Selection is based on valid scores in MH B.Ed CET, PERA-CET, DESPU UCET, or any other recognised State CET. Shortlisted candidates are required to appear for a PI as per the university’s schedule.
