The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Hyderabad, has extended the application deadline for its premier entrance examinations: UGEE, PGEE, and LEEE 2026. Prospective students who have not yet completed their registrations now have an additional window to apply.

The portal will remain open until April 5, 2026, allowing more aspirants to secure their chance for admission into one of India’s top research-led institutes.

The Undergraduate Entrance Examination (UGEE) is the gateway to 5-year dual-degree programs (B.Tech + MS by Research). It focuses on research aptitude through two sections: SUPR (Subject Proficiency) and REAP (Research Aptitude).

The Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE) handles admissions for M.Tech, MS, and Ph.D. programs. While M.Tech selection is based solely on the exam, MS and Ph.D. paths require a personal interview.

The Lateral Entry Entrance Examination (LEEE) allows high-performing students from other colleges to join IIITH's dual-degree programs starting from the third year. This path is highly competitive and emphasizes core technical proficiency and research potential.
