The Centralized Counselling for M.Sc./M.Sc. (Tech.) Admission has released its first result. The CCMN 2026 Round 1 seat allotment is out at ccmn.admissions.nic.in. Document verification and seat acceptance fee payment close on June 17, 2026.

CCMN covers M.Sc and M.Sc (Tech) admissions across multiple institutes. Participating institutes include National Institutes of Technology (NITs), IIEST Shibpur, and select Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). Allotment uses Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2026 scores and saved candidate choices.

Candidates who registered and locked choices can now view their allotment. The portal also shows the allotted institute, branch, and category. Students should download the provisional allotment letter immediately for the next steps.

CCMN 2026 Seat Acceptance Fee

The seat acceptance fee depends on the candidate category. It is paid online through the official CCMN portal. The fee confirms participation in further allotment rounds.

Online payment modes such as net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI are accepted. The acceptance fee is non-refundable on cancellation by the candidate.

• Enter the JAM 2026 enrolment ID and password.
• The Round 1 seat allotment result will open on screen.

Allotted candidates must arrange the following documents before the verification deadline.

• Provisional allotment letter from the CCMN portal
• JAM 2026 scorecard and admit card
• Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates
• Qualifying degree certificate and marksheets
• Category certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates
• PwD certificate, where applicable
• Migration or transfer certificate from the previous institute
• Passport-size photographs and a government photo ID

How to Accept a CCMN 2026 Allotted Seat?

Allotted candidates must select one of three options on the portal. Each choice decides participation in later allotment rounds. The seat acceptance fee must be paid online within the window.

• Freeze: Accept the allotted seat and exit further rounds.
• Slide: Stay with the same institute and seek a better programme.
• Float: Accept the seat and stay open to all options.

Candidates who do not respond will lose the allotted seat. They also will not be considered for upgrades in later rounds.
