WBJEEB has released the WBJEE Admit Card 2026 on 15 May 2026 at its official website @wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee and will be available to download till 24 May 2026 (4 PM).

What is WBJEE 2026?

WBJEE is a state-level exam conducted by the WBJEE Board for selecting students for admissions to undergraduate courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture in Universities, Govt. Colleges and Self-Financed Institutes in the State of West Bengal.

  • The exam will be conducted in OMR-based mode in 2 papers.
  • Candidates appearing in both papers will be eligible for the General Merit Rank (GMR) and Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR).
  • Such candidates will be considered for admission in all courses of Engineering and Pharmacy.
  • Candidates appearing only in Paper II are eligible for the Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR) only.
  • Candidates appearing only in paper-I are not eligible for any rank.

WBJEE 2026 Results

The WBJEE results are usually declared one month after the exam is conducted.

  • In 2025, it was declared on 22 August, around 4 months after the exam, due to reservation/OBC list issues.
  • The overall pass percentage was ~99% in 2025 with 1,00,502 qualified candidates.

Based on previous year result release trends, WBJEE 2026 results are expected to be released between 20 June 2026 and 30 June 2026.

WBJEE 2026 Counselling

The WBJEE online counselling or ORCR, will start after the declaration of results, likely in July. After that, candidates will fill their options for preferred colleges and courses.

  • The WBJEE counselling 2026 will Include multiple rounds of seat allotment, likely 2-3, such as initial allotment, upgradation, etc.
  • Once candidates accept the seat they have been allotted, they have to pay a certain fee and appear for document verification at the allotted institute
  • The WBJEE 2025 counselling saw 2 rounds of counselling.
