Bright mind scholarship, girls exceptional talent scholarship, low income scholarship etc
The placements done by scaler academy are quite impressive and they have also promised about 1 year internship for the students which is one of the attractive factors of this course.
The amenities are there in our college and everything is best also.

Dislikes

I disliked the fact that there is no on campus sports ground
There is no playground in the campus, though there is a sports arena where we can go for 2-3 hours on weekends via bus which isn't very great either.
No library (insufficient library resources) in the college which restricts students

Inside SST: A real student's take on life, learning and growth.

Likes

Infrastructure is pretty techy and corporate, and helps us to cope up with the real world life in the industry
Faculty is highly qualified and as mentors they work really well and have been very useful
The supermentor sessions help a lot in order to get into the mindset of work culture here

Dislikes

There isn't anything to dislike to be honest but if I have to, then I'd say the course is a bit difficult than the rest of the colleges

Best New age college in terms of industry aligned curriculum

Likes

Curriculum of the Scaler school of Technology is best
Lot of industry connection which help in finding internship
Access to new technology like Apple vision pro etc.

Dislikes

Small campus size , due which there is limited sports facilities
Food of the hostel is not tasty , sometimes need to spend to eat outside
Fees of the 4 year SST program is little on the expensive side

From the end of 1st year, companies started coming for internship opportunities. Around 92% of the eligible student secured internship till second year. Companies were: 0xppl, swiggy, Dukaan, Neurowyzr, Rocketium

Focused and updating CS curriculum according to industry requirement
Quality of Instructors and real-world applications
Strong, driven and collaborative peer group

Dislikes

More inclined towards academics and hectic schedule with lots of work
Strict Attendance and leave policies. (80% Attendance required)
Campus facilities like Pantry, Gym and mess needs refinement

Placement Experience:

Currently, Our seniors are getting good internship placement support. Companies are coming on campus for giving internship and I believe same will happen at the time of placements. Almost 95% seniors got intership with average stipend of 25,000.

Scaler School of Technology : An honest review

Likes

Monthly hackathons are organized, which helps keeping us on par with current technologies
Excellent support for startups and content creation
Various tech exposure opportunities with tech leaders

Dislikes

The sports facility is a bit poor, not much sports facilities.
Distance between the micro and macro campus is distant. Travelling again and again is frustating.
Campus life is not that vibrant, very less fests are organized.

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as placements for now (in 1st year here) but in our second year, we have placement support here. We have compulsory internship at our Second year. We only have 2 batches, 1st Year and 2nd Year. But for now, among our seniors 60% of them hold internships and others are either building something or scaling their skills. For now, we don't have any placement records but according to scaler academy, it will be aroung 24 Lakhs.

First Year Experience at SST

Likes

The curriculum is awesome, it is latest, it is as per industry needs.
Teachers here are really experts in their field, having good cooperate experience and good command on subject
They have a concept of BSM, i,e. Batch Success Managers, they are the people who help you with interview prep and assignments .

Dislikes

The campus size is small, not enough space to hang around.
Although there are sports activities but there scaler is not that big
The fees is really on the higher side, making it expensive .

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is very relevant to the industry needs, we have covered DSA, MERN Stack, DBMS etc in the first 1.5 years of college and hence have great confidence in applying for internships and taking part in hackathons.

Likes

Teachers are already engineers, so they have a lot of experience. They even provide us one-one attention unlike other colleges where teachers don't even know their students name. There are 4 teachers available 24*7 for us in our hostel.
The infrastructure is best. There's no college in India that has better infrastructure than Scaler School of Technology's infra.
Laptops are compulsory for every class, which reduces our tension to carry lots of notebooks and additionally we get practical knowledge.

Dislikes

The food here is not too good but they are improving as we are giving our feedback.
We don't have lots of fests here. We are only asked to focus on our study more.

Placement Experience:

Until now it's only been 1 year since our college started so we didn't start placements til now but the students have already started getting and on an average students are getting a stipend of 35k-50k on average and a maximum going above 1 lakh.

The first thing would be our college faculty because they have worked in amazon, snapdeal etc.
Frequent Interaction with founders and co founders of different companies and exposure to new tech
The peer group here is helpful to each other, I love to talk to people here because they always something running in their minds

Dislikes

the boys to girls ratio is low like there is 1(girls) : 5(boys)
I am missing the college life here, coz our campus is literally in building and we will be missing fest and events like other btech college
The hostel is not good, the food quality is very bad

Placement Experience:

From the 2 semester we will eligible to get internships, There were N number of startups like allen, pazcare, 0xppl, only just for internships. there are 50 offers to 50 students out of the 191 students. The highest package for the internship is 1.5 lakh, THe percentage of students getting placed is 45%. I want to build a startup after my degree

Practical Based Study , mainly making us habitual for the practical work rather than writing thousands of records
Teachers are very friendly and industrial level experts who has worked in big tech companies

Dislikes

Very less infrastructure for the sports activities
Fees is a bit high but if you r good enough can avail scholarship

Placement Experience:

The average package of the college is 21.6 lpa which are those students who have enrolled in this college for the upgrading of their skills. Till they haven't placed their 1st Batch of their 4 year residential program. But it is very promising.

I like the curriculum at SST, it provides a lot of opportunities to learn a new skill in the field of Computer Science.
The teachers are really experienced and help a lot. They're very friendly too

Dislikes

We currently have a small campus and very few sports facilities.

Placement Experience:

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

The Curriculum at my college is tech-oriented, focusing on practical skills rather than old traditional curriculum. It is streamlined and efficient for our feild (computer science) without wasting time on other subjects.
The FACULTY members are exceptional, experienced, and who have already worked in an product based companies. Their guidance and mentorship enrich our learning and inspire us to excel in our studies
Peer group is diverse, coming from various backgrounds bringing unique perspectives and creating academic enviorment.

Dislikes

Very very small campus area, no proper workspaces to work and no proper canteen as this is a recent college.
No library (insufficient library resources) in the college which restricts students
sometimes due to the diverse peer group there is a lot of peer pressure which causes demotivation and lack of productivity.

Placement Experience:

as we follow the trimester rule a student can be ready for the internships after the trimester 4 approx (1 year) this was the old curriculm but as per the new curiculmn update after 1 and half year student will be ready for the interships for sure as is has not even been a year that the college as started(opened) so we have no records of the companies, packages offered, placements as of now. my plans after the degree to work in maang companies.
