What is the better option between Bhawanipur college and Umesh Chandra college for B.COM honours?

Some of my friends studied at Bhawanipur college (BESC). According to them it is nothing but just hyped by everyone.
- If you are getting a chance at Umesh Chandra college opt for it. This will also save you an amount of 1.5 lakhs.
- Moreover, internal marks for BESC students are marked in a single-digit, which is discouraging
- Comparatively the government colleges are better as they mark double-digit marks.
- The internal exams are only conducted for the sake to follow the guidelines of CU.

Fees and Financial Aid:
Umeschandra College is a public based university in Kolkata. I opted for Bachelor of commerce where I was having accountancy as my majors. As it is public university the course fees is very affordable for those candidates who don't want to compromise in their quality of study as well. The faculty is very supportive, very approachable. They don't have any lab or student aid as such.

- UCC is the government commerce college of Kolkata and fees is almost eliminated here.
- Even after low fees studies and faculties quality has not been compromised.
Fees and Financial Aid:
At UCC, fees is nothing as 6000 a year and that for B.Com (Hons) is nothing. Also we have to pay semester wise so the fees payment becomes even more easy as just 3000 a semester. This is as I am from general category otherwise SC/ST and some students from lower category don't even have to pay anything at all as they get a lot of scholarships.

- Studies are top notch here as our syllabus is of Calcutta University.

Umesh Chandra College can't get any better as it is governed by state government and therefore the fees is just 6000 a year. SC/ST students also get 50% scholarships and therefore they have to pay just 3000 yearly.

- Examination is passed, so you have to work hard to pass the exam.

Fee structure is quite good which is around 15000 for 3 year of B.com.There is no as such criteria for any reservation,fee is same for all the category whether you are from general,obc or sc /st.students can be Benefited through eklyan and many other scholarships available on the website. You can check it also.

I paid in total 5600 for yearly fees and there no scholarship i opted for this course , it's environment is good just management Could be better and the canteen is bad I didn't like it they provide nothing decent to eat, otherwise everything fine just being a english medium many teachers there speaks and teach in Bengali language this what I found something hard to understand

Fees and Financial Aid:
Every thing is good in this college. It's very affordable college as it charge fees( all fees including expect exam fees) is 5500+ rupees. Yes there are seats reserved for SC, ST etc.
Faculty is nice. Professors are very friendly. This college has a library which contains a lots amazing books. And yes there are option for financial aids and scholarship for the students.
This college is only for Commerce Course which is Bcom(three years and Four years)

The yearly fees Is 5490, Tuition fees is around 2000 all subjects, admission fees was 5490, no other charges , There is a scholarship named Swami Vivekananda's scholarship and it is a merit cum scholarship.

- There no issue of attendance which is much beneficial for the student opting for professional courses

- College timing is prompt 6 am which is not possible for everyone to attend regularly

Fees are paid half yearly semester wise, Our college provide scholarship like National Scholarship for UG student, Swami Vivekanand merit cum scholarship, etc. Having an yearly benefit of 12000 to the student who score minimum 60% marks in 12th examination.

The amount of scholarship or financial aid that are available for students is 12k .. scholarship name is vivekanand or kanya shree akhyashree
The merit cum needed is maximum 6 cgp per sem tn yearly u get 12k
