Nift Bengaluru Review

Fee per semester is approximately 1.5 Lakhs to 1.8 Lakhs depending on semester. And it keeps increasing every sem. There are also scholarships available for people who have yearly income below 5 Lakhs.

Honest review after experiencing my life alone in Bangalore nift

Okay , so the fees doesn't increase or decrease and the fee is paid sem wise (every 6months) so it's almost 2,00,000 per sem and these include the tuition fees n everything , if you opted for hostel than you have to register for that seperately and I'm not sure how exactly is hostel fees since it varies. And people in NRI reservation there fees varies a lot and have to pay much more than us ( these information will be provided in nift page ) . Concerned about the scholarship? Than there is a schemes and more since it's a government college also has scholarship for people other than general category.

Experiences at NIFT Bengaluru

There are different scholarships that the college provides according to the different requirements of students. One of the scholarships awarded to students is called UDAAN. It can even be taken when there are exchange programs offered by the college. Even the placements at the college are very helpful and provide with several opportunities.

If you want to join NIFT

The fee if you get through general quota is 3 lakh per year which is divided among two sems in each year. There is also NRI quota but the fee for this is around 10 lakh. If you belong to a particular community you have options of getting scholarships, they also provide scholarships for laptops and other electronic gadgets. The criteria for each scholarship depends on the category and your annual income. There is no college job but they push you take yo internship which may allow you to earn a stipend.

Ab overview of life at NIFT Bangalore

The tuition fees for each semester are roughly 2 lakh rupees. But as a design student we need to buy a lots of stationery and extra items which add to the expense. The course itself can be a little expensive for people. The total cost comes around 18-20 lakhs for the 4 years. There are scholarships available for financially weaker students. They are mostly the government scholarships and have a particular criteria for applying based on the income of the student's family. I have not taken any campus employment. There aren't any roles available as such.

Nift Banglore sneak peak

There is a Sarthak scholarship scheme for students whose family income is less than 4 lakhs and they can apply for it. The cost of materials per year varies from 10000 to 80000 the materials are quite expensive and the fees per semester are approximately 1.5 lakhs.

Facts

Studying is NIFT is quite expensive. Apart from the fees of the course, there are other miscellaneous expenses such as hostel, mess and stationers. Combining all these things together makes it quite expensive if you want to study in NIFT.
