Readmission:
If the applicant had earlier been a student of the first or second year of any BU program and had discontinued for whatever reason, he /she is eligible for re-admission into the II / III years in which he/she had discontinued, on payment of a readmission fee of 10,000 INR/-. Re–admissions are possible only in the courses are currently offered by the BU. The syllabus for such re–admitted students shall be prescribed by the BU.
Concurrent Admission:
Students undergoing regular courses in colleges can seek admission to any program offered by Bangalore University concurrently. Such Applicants are required to submit the application along with the bonafide student certificate from the college where he/she studying. The Students are also eligible to claim for exemption of subjects in which the syllabus is common for both the programs, It will be considered as per rules and regulations.
Lateral-Entry:
If a candidate had already studied a 1st year or 2nd year in a full-time program in any college affiliated to Mysore/Bangalore/BSS University or a recognized University, he / she is eligible for admission directly into the second or third year of the corresponding program of the Bangalore University on the payment of INR 30,000 as a direct admission fee along with the first course fee. Direct admission will be made only to the courses which are currently offered by the BU.

The selection will be done on walk-in basis. Under B.Sc., a candidate needs to have passed class 12th from any stream from a recognized board. For applying under MBA and M.Sc. only a graduate will be eligible. The selection for B.SC., MBA, and M.Sc. will be based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance test. For a Diploma and Master's Diploma, a candidate must possess the relevant qualifications.
