Ques. Is JEE Main mandatory for B.Tech Civil Engineering admission at JECRC University?
Ans. JEE Main is not mandatory for admission to B.Tech Civil Engineering at JECRC University. The university gives preference to candidates with valid JEE Main 2026 scores, but admission can also be granted based on 10+2 merit (minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and English). Students who have not appeared in JEE Main can still apply and be considered for admission based on their 10+2 performance. However, having a JEE Main score strengthens the application.

Merit scholarships are available: 15% of tuition fee (INR 13,650 per annum) for students with 70-84.99% in 10+2, and 25% of tuition fee (INR 22,750 per annum) for students with 85% and above. To continue the scholarship, students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 8.0 and 75% attendance each semester.
Ques. What is the refund policy for B.Tech Civil Engineering at JECRC University?
Ans. As per UGC guidelines followed by JECRC University for 2026-27, a full refund of fees (with a deduction of not more than INR 1,000 as processing fee) is applicable for withdrawals up to 31st October 2026. No refund is made for withdrawals after 31st October 2026. For hostel fee refunds, if the withdrawal notice is given at least 15 days before the commencement of classes, only INR 5,000 is deducted. After 30 days of commencement of classes, no hostel fee refund is provided.
