Placement Experience:

Saksham: the Placement and E-cell of Satyawati college(M) serves as an interface that allows college students to reach out to the respective recruiters and get quality exposure through internships and job opportunities. In coordination with the Placement cell of Delhi University, Saksham assists students in the registration process. The cell provides each and every student of the college with opportunities for growth irrespective of his/her course or year. Past recruiters have been Byju's, Urban Company, Decathlon, Zomato, POPXO, and many more.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements after the completion of their respective courses. The placements of our college are not very good or very bad. The average placement record has improved over time. Off campus placements are also there. Some courses are better in demand than others. But at the end of the day, the deserving will have an edge over others. Apart from that, one can also opt for higher studies and that is entirely a choice of the individual. The highest package attained by our college graduate was around 16 lakh per annum and the average is around 7 lakh per annum.

Placement Experience:

Mostly, students from semesters V and VI are eligible for placements. But, the placement cell provides internships for all the students which might help them in getting Pre Placement Offers. Companies like Decathlon, Planet Spark, S&P Global Market Intelligence, Oyo, Swiggy, Zomato, Byju's Urban Company, IDBI Federal Life Insurance Company, DE Shaw and Co etc have been our previous recruiters and there have been 400+ opportunities for students. The highest package is as high as 32.5 lakhs per annum. The average package is about 4 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed is about 20% which is quite low as most of the students plan to go for masters in their major. My plan after the degree is to pursue masters in economics while I want to make a career in the field of data analysis.

Placement Experience:

Yet again, the placements of our college are really good, they got really good firms like D.E. Shaw, S&P Global, OYO, IDBI, Bajaj capitals, and many esteemed firms for placements where the highest placement went as high as above 30 lakhs and average can be seen at 6-8LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to become an economist and wanted to help India and its economy. Faculty members of Satyawati are good, they behave well to students and they help a lot. In my time there was 1 teacher to 40 students but now it's more according to my junior friends who are studying in the college. If we talk about the qualification of the faculty, the members were qualified and they had experience. They teach well but some teachers were so stubborn means they teach their way not according to the book. So this is the point they should change and except them, it was fine everything. Exams were held two times a year and there were many tests and viva in Between. Exams and tests were not tough but if you don't study then they are tough. Consistency in study matters.

Placement Experience:

For a course like English, no placements are provided. One needs to join the placement cell of our college called saksham in order to be located somewhere or to get an internship in general. Such opportunities are lacking for the basic courses but for cources like maths, Bcom or economics such placements are widely provided. They get plenty opportunities via college as well as outside as well. Plus, cites like internshala etc provide the necessary opportunities. Having set my mind on academia, I needed to pursue further studies in order to procure a master's degree hence I didn't look out for such opportunities. Plus the college is just for undergraduates so the competitive exam called Duet is to be given in order to further study in DU.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides insights into English Literature. Facilitates you in improving your writing skills. Also gives a diverse range of Colleagues to interact with, which will further develop your personality. The teaching faculty here is excellent and provides as much assistance as possible from their end. All teachers have. their uniques style of teaching and I can say by experience that all are effective. The term exams happen after every 6 months. With decent preparation, a student can easily pass the exams but for getting higher marks you need to be diligent and hardworking.

Satyawati College: 1 Answered Question

How good is DUs Satyawati College?

Prajwal TiwariStudied at Satyawati College, University of Delhi

Satyawati was a part of the Delhi University campus before it was relocated to Ashok Vihar.

When you are admitted to one of the DU colleges, you place a high value on education. There are many amenities in college that other colleges do not have, one of which is the Largest Auditorium at DU.

It's a good college with friendly students. The seniors are helpful. There are numerous co-curricular societies to which one can belong. Ragging is prohibited at the college because of the anti-ragging policy. Except for a few, the teachers have extensive experience and training. The building's infrastructure is adequate, and the classrooms are also spacious. There is a fantastic library as well. The canteen is excellent. The ground is in good condition and is well-maintained.
